Tongue Cancer
I endured a 12 hour surgical procedure with possibility of loss of speech and/or disfigurement. NEITHER OCCURRED.My recovery allowed my return to work. I am an attorney and was able to again conduct complex trials. From initial consultation throughout my more than five (5) years of testing & status appointments with Dr Mendelsohn, he was consistently warm friendly and communicated in 'plain English.' He is remarkable and exceptional as both a surgeon and treating physician. There is NO ONE better than Dr Abie Mendelsohn.E

Amazing Dr.
I visited Dr. Mendelsohn @ UCLA today for a cough and he was kind, courteous and listened and addressed all my concerns. He also was open to a discussion about what I read online about my cough and was able to discuss it with me in more detail. He also performed a Laryngoscopy and was extremely gentle! I didn't feel a single thing! I'm extremely impressed by this Dr. and is genuine passion for wanting to help his patients. After my procedure he explained everything to me and I was fascinated! I would highly recommend Dr. Mendelsohn to my friends and family, as its hard to find someone who is kind, compassionate and truly an expert in his field. Thank you again Dr. Mendelsohn!

I can't thank Dr Mendelsohn enough for giving me back the ability to breathe and look "normal" again. He did so much more than just performing a difficult surgical procedure. I don't have the words to describe my deep gratitude for all that he's done and continues to do. I knew Dr Mendelsohn was my last hope. If he couldn't help me there was no place else for me to turn. My case was a bit complex but that didn't deter Dr Mendelsohn, he took it in stride. I'm not sure what my life would have been if he wasn't able to perform the necessary surgery. He has been a source of strength and he always has a smile to greet you with. Thank you Dr Mendelsohn, I'll never forget your kind, caring ways.
