One of the best Doctor in Minnesota-Mayo Clinic
One of the best doctor I have at Mayo Clinic. He care about his patients and gave me hope with the best treatment. With his unconditional care I am continue to live and enjoy life. Thank you Dr. Tefferi, you are one of the best!

My wife was diagnosed with ALL In 1999 and Dr Tefferi was the first Dr that we saw upon arrival at Mayo. We were there in the hospital off and on for two years and he was her favorite Dr and would get an ear to ear smile from her no matter how poorly she was feeling when he walked in her room. He was super accommodating, gave us his personal phone number to call whenever, and did his best to get us home whenever possible since we lived more than 300 miles away with children there, by coordinating treatments with our local hospital. I cannot overstate enough that he is a great Dr and an even better man.

I had a negative experience with Dr. Teferri. I flew across the country to meet with him, at my Dr’s urging, due to an 8 year long ongoing and unexplained increase in my blood counts and decrease in my quality of life. After glancing at my records, he would only say that based on my genetic test results and BMB, I did not have PV. When I asked him what it might be, then, that is causing my increased blood counts, he would only repeat that I do not have PV and also that “some doctors make

I have been a patient of Dr Tefferi’s for twenty years. That about sums up how much I respect and trust this doctor. I live in Canada and travel annually to see Dr. Tefferi at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester with correspondence during the year.
