Dr. Ayushi Ahuja, MD

I went to a cardiologist almost 3 years ago who basically said after Echo “I’ll see you in 9 months”. I thought I was fine until I was denied coverage due to heart disease. I searched within the Wellstar network for a new doctor and they all had five star reviews. But when I searched outside of this site, I found many negative reviews. Dr. Ahuja, on the other hand, got very positive feedback. After seeing her, I can say it’s very well deserved. She listens intently, doesn’t rush you and takes time to show your heart on screen, explains issues and answers all your questions. After Echo, I was contacted within hours about some concerns. She is very upbeat and has a great sense of humor. She suggests improvements and changes in your lifestyle, without admonishment or criticism. And her staff reflects the same optimism and grace. They actually act is if they like their jobs, which should be the norm, but so often is not. If you haven’t guessed by now, I highly recommend her.

Saw her for the first time today. Was very reassuring, kind and had a wonderful way of explaining everything. I left her office feeling much better about my situation.
