Dr. Babak Hakimisefat, DO

Being a nurse at the hospital, I was able to see how Dr. Hakimi treated his in-house patients, the staff, and colleagues . His expertise, compassion, and professionalism were evident and I did not hesitate to seek him out as my physician. I have asthma and sleep apnea so it made sense to see him for those conditions as he is a pulmonary specialist. But because he is so knowledgeable overall, and very caring, I asked him if he could be my primary physician. He agreed, and I couldn't be happier. His office staff is also caring, competent, and was very helpful with all manner of paperwork that I needed filled out. Dr. Hakimi and his office provides excellent patient care and customer service.

This mans incompetence and neglect of my father led to his death. He will refuse all options and only do what is best for his pockets. Stay as far away as you can from this so called Dr.

Dr Hakimi was my dad’s doctor at st Jo’s ICU in Jan 2021. Many doctors were involved, some from my own nationality, Dr Hakimi was the best though, knowledgeable, most caring, went out of his way to talk to us every day, take the time to explain and answer questions, at the busiest of times when the hospital was overwhelmed at height of the pandemic. Thank You!

I received nothing but excellent care from him at his office and also at the hospital. I have asthma and I was referred to him for treatment and later I asked him if he will accept to be my primary doctor. I am so lucky he is my doctor, my mom's doctor and I have no hesitation to recommend him to my family and friends. His office staff is very professional, polite, and helpful. I see a few doctors for myself and also my mother. His office has the shortest wait time compared with the other doctors I see.

I had bilateral pneumonia and developed asthma as a 32-year-old last year, and Dr. Hakimi was the one shining light from my dealings with medical professionals during said time. I am extremely grateful and not only do I not fear going to see him; I look forward to it. I can't recommend more.

Horrible service: improper diagnosis, poor treatment, and untrained/unprofessional office staff. The Dr. spent 5 minutes on us for each visit and we were charged around $500. He didn't take the time or try to understand the problem before assigning tests that should be done. The office had refused to give me a quote upfront, reassuring me that my insurance would cover the visit, which they did not. Save your time and money and go to another Dr.

Dr. Babak rushed through the process on every appointment and constantly kept shortening his own recommended time periods needed for the treatment to take effect in order for us to be back in his office quicker. I now know why -- so he can bill, bill and bill without care or adequate time needed between appointments. The treatment did not work needless to say because of rushed "work" on his part. Very disappointed. If you're serious about getting results on sleep issues, please go elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr Hakimisefat for many years. He has helped me through major breathing problems. I wanted to give up but he never gave up on me. I’m 62 and I have very bad lungs. I was taking a lot of prednisone and he got me off the steroids. A lot of it was finding the correct medications. Sometimes you have stuff that is bad and you want to give up. But Dr Hakimisefat helped me and I’m in a better place without all the steroids.

I had a consultation with Dr Hakimisefat on 7/16/18 regarding the fact I stop breathing at night as I am falling asleep. I was set up with a home sleep study. I picked it up on 7/25/18 and returned it on 7/27/18 as instructed. I called the office on 7/30/18 to find out what the next step would be, I was advised someone would call me. I called 8/3/18 to see if the results were in, I was advised it had not been read yet. I called 8/13/18 and left a message, no one has called me back.

Dr. Hakimi has a warm focused manner thatputs his patients at ease right away. He's highly skilled and diverse in his training, which makes him even more valuable in patient assessment and diagnosis. He has been treating my husband for COPD, a difficult diagnosis to deal as a patient. Even when Dr. Hakimi has deliver hard news, it's done in a non-threatening-yet-firm way. We trust him completely.

The best and caring doctor you will ever have. He is brilliant, caring and I trust him with my health conditions and decisions. Love him!
