Dr Hooshmand is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and thorough.I was hospitalized with sepsis and was treated properly recovering from my condition rapidly.

ALMOST KILLED ME!
Did not read my chart or my intake notes. I am severely allergic to both penicillin and sulfa and go into anaphylactic shock when given either. It is stated in my chart as well as intake notes and I am always ADAMANT about telling people of my allergies, especially drugs. However, a derivative of penicillin was ordered as one of the antibiotics given to me intravenously. Lucky for me, I read ALL labels and ask about medicines prescribed.So, how could I trust a negligent doctor with my health! I certainly don't.

Compassionate and knowledgable ID physician
Dr. Hooshmand is an excellent physician. He has great bedside manners. He is caring and knowledgable. If only more physicians can be more like him. He takes the time out to explain your condition in ways you can understand.

bedside manners are great actually fantastic is the word I'm looking for he writes down everything that you tell him as far as your symptoms and he evaluates you the old-school way and listens!!! I believe that is the one thing Dr's do wrong by jumping to conclusions before they see you and a lot of them have their mind made up before you walk in ...that's not the case with Hooshmand! Highly recommended!! I transferred to Kentucky wish I had him here!
