He is a great doctor.
I have been in pain for more than three years and no doctor could tell me what was wrong with me, I was given different medications that was not helping and they stopped believing me. When I met Dr Jahromi i was so overwhelmed when he told me what was wrong and explained my pain, after surgery he came to check on me and helped me, all his team where so kind and nice. Am so grateful to all of them.

Microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralg
After a 4-5 hour procedure under general anesthesia and a couple of hours in recovery he actually helped the nurse get me up and encouraged walking before coming back when he said he would to assess me and decide to send me home. He was very skillful but kind and treated me as a person, not just a procedure.

A human surgeon
I had a very complicated and very lagged brain aneurysm repaired. After my local doctor said he couldn’t do the life saving procedure I needed, I was lucky enough to have a family member who is a PA at tufts medical in Boston demand that I go see him immediately because he is the best in the field at what he does. So after an ambulance ride and a good night nights sleep, he had me all fixed up. Incredible human being. Definitely not what I expected from a surgeon. Super empathetic with families. He’s the only reason my wife made it through emotionally. The Jahromi the homie. I owe you my life

A wonderful neurosurgeon – Aug 02, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Jahromi?
Dr. Jahromi performed an extremely lengthy surgery to relieve me of the agony of Glossopharyngeal neuralgia and to prevent an inevitable trigeminal condition. I have been pain free for three years. His kindness and sense of humor helped me through what could easily have been a tremendously anxious time. I am so grateful to have had Dr. Jahromi as my surgeon. Infinite Thanks!

Dr. Jahromi is highly regarded as a physician and surgeon. These are known facts. What may not be known is his level of concern for his patients. He is easy to relate to and has a great sense of humor. Those secondary characteristics don't make him a better surgeon, but they do make him a better person. All of these factors have provided confidence and peace of mind in the midst of a surgical treatment that nobody really wants to go through. I am still recovering, but feel that I am well ahead of my expectations! Dr. Jahromi and the entire team at Northwestern Medical have been wonderful!!!

Due to my history of Trigeminal Neuralgia, Dr Jahromi recommended microvascular decompression surgery. That surgery was performed by Dr. Jahromi Jan. 23, 2020, on me and Jan. 24, 2020, I was home permanently pain free. There aren't enough good adjectives to describe Dr. Jahromi. He along with his team have given me my life back! I and my family will be eternally grateful!

Dr Jahromi could not be more amazing. He took time to draw pictures of my mom's brain and location and shape of her aneurysm. We went over the options, risks and he made sure I understand what he is talking about. I will scan and keep that sheet of paper he drew for my mom's file. I wish other doctors are like him.

My young sister suffered unfortunate consequences of birth control resulting in a stroke necessitating craniotomy and subsequent cranioplasty. After her cranioplasty, she had unforseen and unpreventable, but certainly not insurmountable, complications and revision cranioplasty was performed. Throughout her journey, Dr. Jahromi was a rock for both my sister and our family. He’s been realistic but incredibly encouraging. I would recommend him to anyone.

DR Jahromi did a micro vascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia. This was performed at the University of Rochester Medical center last July 2015. I thank God for this Dr. He is straight forward on everything he does. Very compassionate and caring The Northwestern Medical should be very happy to have him aboard.
