Dr. Bahri Bilir, MD

Today was just a follow up appointment to confirm that my liver was completely healed and to get endoscopy results, which were also normal. Dr. Bilir was at Littleton Hospital and saved me after I went into acute liver failure after hip replacement surgery at another hospital. With his guidance and of course the ICU staff at the hospital, he saved my liver and my life.! Without him, I would have died. His follow up has been exceptional! Even though he says I don’t need to see him again, I will be and am forever grateful for his care, perspective and the explanations he provided for the liver failure. Truly would not be here without him.

Dr. Bilir is not only brilliant, but he is an outstanding communicator. I feel extremely confident that I am in excellent hands.

Dr. Bilir is the Best Doctor Ever, I have Chronic Crohns Disease, have had 11 major surgeries and have came very near death many times, and Dr. Bilir saved my life he did everything he possibly could to help me get better I am a very complicated Crohns patient have had many doctors & none have came close to what Dr. Bilir has done to get me better he's kind, caring, understanding, and supportive, will go above and beyond to do his absolute best to get you better, his staff is amazing always very kind and caring. I am still struggling with my health but with God and Dr. Bilir on my Team I will get to my health goals and a better quality of life, we are so grateful and thankful for Dr. Bilir if i could give Dr. Bilir 1 million Star Ratings we definitely would, with much appreciation and gratitude thank you so much for everything right from the heart me and my family greatly appreciate you all. Not sure how there are so many great reviews here... Dr. Bilir spent about 3 minutes in office with me, then abruptly left. I had to ask his assistants if they could ask him a few questions for me since he left so abruptly. They said they would, and I never heard back. I called the office and asked the questions again. Never heard back. Absolutely terrible experience. Was not listened to, was not allowed to ask questions, was charged a great amount of money for nothing. Avoid!

Dr. Bilir performed a routine colonoscopy on me. Prior to the exam, he visited with me for five minutes or so, and I found him to be delightful, informative and competent. All of the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and informed. I highly recommend this doctor and the organization at large.

All the nurses and staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely come back to this provider and location again. It’s nice to see people with positive attitudes.

Documentation of prep was very thorough. Nurse did a great job getting me ready for procedure. Dr visited, introduced himself, walked thru procedure. Allowed opportunity for questions. After procedure gave me document with photo and findings, verbally gave results. Nurse called the next day to follow up on recovery and any questions.
