Dr. Bailey Sanders, MD

Dr. Sanders surgically repaired my bilateral inguinal hernias. My pre and post operative visits with her were professional, thorough, and as positive as one could hope for. Dr. Sander's personality should be cloned and shared among all physicians as she explains everything clearly, answers any questions completely and is so positive and pleasant whicht is quite comforting to a patient. She has significant experience using robotics during her hernia surgeries. My surgery with her resulted in a quick and painless recovery.

Today I received the best care from Dr. Bailey Sanders and her assistant Heather at Pinehurst surgical. Dr. Sanders listened to my concerns and took action immediately. The appointment was not rushed and Dr. Sanders gave me options for my care. I am used to military are of “treat and street”. Dr. Sanders provided patient care. She is kind, professional and administered the best local anesthesia I have ever received. I am an NP and I know what right looks like. Heather and Dr. Sanders provided seamless high-quality care. Thank you, Dr. Sanders and Heather. I am very grateful for both of you!

She was very concerned with my situation. Kept me calm and relaxed with her beautiful smile. She followed up with me after the surgery in the hospital and when I went home. She is one of the BEST Doctors I have met. Fully trust in her diagnosis. She makes sure that you have asked all your questions and treats you as if you are the only patient she has. Great bedside manners!

Dr. Sanders is fantastic! She was generous with her time during the surgery consult and very clear and patient. She stopped by for more questions and followed up after a very quick surgical procedure. The staff in her office and hospital were also kind and efficient.

Dr. Sanders was awesome. She spent the time needed to explain my hernia in detail. After explaining the condition to me, she remained very engaged and made sure that I had a good understanding of the condition and what my options are. Excellent! As a 71 year old ,very active, healthy person , i recommend this surgeon highly for hernia repairs. Dr. Bailey Sanders is kind, positive, informative and talented. She explained the repair surgery thoroughly , answered all my questions and performed the surgery in a 'tedious area ' where there was scar tissue from a prior surgery. I recommend her and her staff highly. Excellent experience and repair results .

In general I don't have a lot of trust in medical doctors. I want logic and facts rather than a "trust me" when it comes to a medical procedure. I met with Dr. Sanders two times about my medical condition and plan to fix it. I had already researched her capabilities and track record prior to the visit so I established early on that she is a top performer at either of the options for me. My main purpose for the visit was to identify and choose the best option for me based on logic and facts. I was blown away with her mental sharpness, knowledge of the procedures, and plain spoken logic and facts. My procedure will be in the coming weeks and I will post another review at some point afterwards. As of right now, I've never had a better medical experience.

She is interested in her patients. Takes time to explain everything in detail. Very talented. Follows up, even on her off days.

My surgery date was January 15,2021 and I am proud to say that one day shy of three weeks I walked into the gym and started working out. Dr. Sanders ending up repairing 3 hernias during my procedure. I would like to say THANK YOU to her as well as her staff and all the wonderful people at Pinehurst Surgical. That all were professional, caring, and awesome to deal with. Dr. Sanders was very caring, informative, and very GREAT at what she does. I would recommend her to anyone that is needing this type of surgery, 1000 percent. Excellent provider and surgeon. She is very informative and has a great bedside manner. She handled my pre-op, surgery date, and post-op appointments perfectly and I would feel totally comfortable having surgery done by her again. I'm very thankful I was referred to her.

Dr. Sanders recently handled my husband's gallbladder surgery, along with Dr. Schinco, at Wake Med Hospital on New Bern. Both Dr.'s were amazing, including their bedside manner, & genuine interest in the patient. My husband had a few additional complications, due to the severity of the gallbladder issue (Liver, pancreas, blood clot.) Dr. Sanders spent quite a bit of time ensuring we understood the plan of attack, and also making sure we were comfortable and in agreement. Cannot thank her enough!
