Beware
My hernia repair with Dr Sam was successful and my complaint is not with Dr Sam but with his staff. Dr Sam is listed as In-Network with my Cigna plan, however his staff filed my claim using his tax ID rather than his provider ID so his claim appears to be Out Of Network which falls into a separate deductable category. If filed correctly, my bill would be paid in full by Cigna. It’s been a year and I am now being turned over to a collection agency because his office staff refuses to refile my claim correctly.
