Unlike the other reviewers I have nothing but praise for Dr. Waikhom and I am most saddened by her departure. She was very thorough in her exams, never seemed rushed nor impatient. Further, she explained all the issues with my vision, what treatment she was using and why. I eventually needed cataract surgery on both eyes which she performed flawlessly. I healed quickly without any pain or discomfort. Plus, I now have 20-20 and 20-10 vision. She is sorely missed.

First, she only offered me treatment for tear-deficient dry eye and acted like these were the only treatments for dry eye at all. I later discovered that I have Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. The treatment for the first is no effective for the second. Second, when I expressed frustration *at the situation, not her specifically* and chose the less expensive of the two treatments she offered, she treated me as an combative patient until I agreed to the more expensive treatment later.

She was a bit rude and rushed. Did not take the time to fully explain my medical condition and the appropriate treatment options.
