Continually unpleasant experiences
each appointment I leave feeling disappointed. I had an ectopic pregnancy that was misdiagnosed as a miscarriage because of her disregard for my pain until it ended in me losing a tube and needing emergency surgery. with my next pregnancy I was willing to give her another chance until my appointment seemed to be entirely unimportant to her. she couldn't even glance up from her computer to answer my questions and pushed off all of my concerns and questions with 'It's normal, you're pregnant'. I refuse to book any further appointments with her.

Dr. Sarma has been treating me since 2000, she diagnosed and performed a hysterectomy in 2004 that pretty much saved me from terrible fibroids .I trust her completely with my health !

I was Dr. Sarma's Patient for over 14 years. In past couple of years, I visited her office for different symptoms and I was given antibiotics and vaginal creams without doing more investigation to find the actual reason. She could not diagnose me with endometriosis condition which led to all different symptoms that I had. A different specialist diagnose my condition by simply ordering an ultrasound. Unfortunately as a result of her negligence, I lost one of my ovaries and uterus. For over 12 years after I gave birth, she never ordered any ultrasound. She always told me you are fine!

Dr. Sarma is a great doctor. She is very knowledgeable and patient. Helped me tremendously when I had very bad periods. Love her! Now my teenage daughter goes to her as well

A native of Chennai (Madras), India, Dr. Sarma was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. After completing her undergraduate studies and medical school at Temple, she completed her medical training at the Pennsylvania Hospital and Lehigh Valley Medical Center.
