Abysmal bedside manner; mean-spirited doc
This was my second visit with Dr. Jian. Each visit has been worse than the one preceding. I requested pain medicine for a laceration on the bottom of my foot and he was dismissive and smug, refusing to prescribe anything until I explained in great detail why it was necessary. I then requested a refill on a non narcotic, non addictive hormone my body no longer makes and he said no because he didn’t know enough about my condition or the drug. This made zero sense so I asked to speak with another doctor. He left the room and I thought it was to get that doctor and he didn’t come back for an hour. I was left for an hour in the treatment room with zero updates or information from my doctor. The other doctor agreed with me and issued the refill. I was there for 2 hours to get one prescription and one refill. Dr. Jian never apologized for leaving me in the room or for his horrible bedside manner. Avoid this doctor. He’s meant for research, not for interacting with patients.
