Great Doctor
During my interactions with Dr. Chubak, she was easy and pleasant to deal with. She discussed the options that I had available and recommended what I ended up doing based on her suggestions.

Horrible experience super long waiting hour
I had horrible experience with her. My appointment is 3:45pm, and I arrived at 3:25, I waited until 5:15pm, and they told me I probably still need wait for 1 hours. I was told she is super slow, and alway needs long wait g hours. I am ok and understand the waiting hour, but more than 1 hour is not acceptable for me, otherwise why need the appointment system?

Did not try very hard to help
I consulted for urinary incontinence at 40! It was a pain scheduling exams and after to get her analysis of the results. After my urodynamic test she basically lost interest and recommended a book to read and it was it. Never heard of her ever again. She is pleasant in person but I doubt she cares. Avoid.

Find Another Surgeon
Although Dr. Chubak is a very pleasant person, she performed a surgery on me that, according to a second opinion, was a "bad job". Large kidney stones remain, and it was a very painful recovery. The last appointment I had with her, she informed me that she is not a kidney stone specialist, which she should have been mentioned before she suggested the different types of surgery she could do for that issue. Communication is terrible - I've had to call five times to get a response. Overall terrible experience.

I would not recommend this Dr. My first appt was thorough but she never got back to me about my test results after numerous messages through the portal. So I had to make an appt at which point she told me that Mount Sinai does not allow her to do admin work. Told me she gets a million emails a day and is not allowed to check them. I found it odd. I just think she’s lazy. She has a blaze attitude and gave excuses about her incompetence. How you do one think is how you do everything.

Unfortunately, despite positive reviews my experience with Dr Chubak was absolutely abysmal and awful. She was smiley and friendly, however provided no real plan of action for my issue, did not notify me of test results, still have symptoms I called her office 5 times over the course of two weeks and left her a message in pain. No call back. No messages. I was then sent a no-reply message by her staff telling me to make another visit- next availability in a month! She never even finished my first visit! Horrible. Hard to understand a doctor who does tests and then leaves you hanging while your pain continues to get worse...Please save your time and money. Paid for tests and did not get a chance to discuss the results with her. I've now had to look for another doctor to start all over with. Would never recommend. Please do not see her.

Just had a video appointment with Dr. Chubak. She started the meeting exactly on time, listened to my reasons for the appointment, asked me pertinent questions and gave me suggestions for next steps. She was approachable, knowledgeable and explained my options clearly. When the video froze, she called me immediately to continue the consultation by phone. I wish all doctor visits could be this pleasant and helpful!

She listen and examine you very well, and leave the clear impression of having deeply knowledge in the urological field. As a plus, she is polite and has a very good temperament. And the most important, at least for me, Doctor Chubak give you a personalized attention. When you get into her office you spend absolutely most of the time being attended by her, instead of the assistants, like use to be the case of almost all the medical offices that I have visited through my life in New York.

I saw Dr. Chubak a few times last June & July (2018) as follow up to an ER experience with varicocele. She found out my hormone levels and had no issue sharing that information with me. She also gave me a clear explanation of varicocele and left an offer for her to surgically eliminate it for me.

Arrived 6 minutes after cutoff (because she doesn't have her own medical office, it took ten minutes to clear security at 625 Madison Lobby, then wait in line at Mt. Sinai Urology, only to then be directed to a third check in desk. Check in person seemed shocked that she a nurse to inform us I was being marked "no show". Zero sympathy that I was in extreme pelvic pain, and had waited days to get the appt. Chaotic process getting them my medical records from Sinai (not automatic). Horrible exp.
