My husband called scheduling and said that I am going to be late to reschedule. the receptionist sad that I can be 15 mins late. Uber dropped me off at 1:24pm and I took the elevator up to the office. My temp was check and was asked covid questions and then I signed in. I sat waiting for my turn. Subsequently a gentleman came up and informed me that I was 3 minutes late and the doctor won't see me. I told them that I came in on time and he insisted that I was 3 minutes late that is why the doctor refused to see me. And I asked him to tell her that I have an 11 month old baby and it is difficult for me to be able to leave my son to be watched. Doctor I am just wondering how may times you leave patients in the room waiting for awhile or the waiting room for more than 3 minutes to be brought in.It felt like I was at a bus stop arguing over something petty and not in a professional office. It is just not the degree that does it but also the human/social factor and empathy is part of that.
