denied me referral for breast tumor
checking in was fine for me, however i was a first time patient and when she asked why i was there, i told her i needed a referral (old one expired) to test my breast tumor. she then took me to fill out a general patient questionnaire on the computer, and when i selected yes for the questions about depression and anxiety she proceeded to say afterwards, “it looks like you have severe depression so i’m just gonna go ahead and prescribe you lxxapro okay?” her saying it that way raised some red flags. after the questionnaire she said “okay, do you need anything else? “ and then closed the tabs on her computer while saying that. i said “yes i need my referral i mentioned earlier”. she had the audacity to say “oh well i already closed the tabs on my computer it’s too late i have an appointment coming up anyways just schedule another appointment with me” i was fuming and at that point i wasn’t even gonna try to get it from her i jsut switched my doctor entirely after that. she SUCKS!!!!!

Can never reach the front office
I have had the worst time getting ahold of anyone at the front desk If I can reach them they leave me on hold for well over 20 minutes most timesI have been sitting in the waiting room and hear the front desk attendants put people on hold immediately and then go back to chatting amongst themselves The phones are ringing practically the whole time I am there for any reason. Dr Denysiak is a little more direct than her daughter so if your looking for no nonsense and straight to the point good luck getting an appointment in the first place. Many times i have gone to urgent care because her wait times for appointments are well over 3 weeks most days

Warning - Never going back
-I wasn't seen for over an hour after my appointment time-I scheduled under my free annual exam and trying to establish primary care, but was billed was a specialist visit-I was in the office with the doctor for less than 3 minutes, but when I got my bill, I was billed not only at the special visit rate but for time exceeding 60 minutes - a $350 BILL!-Those 3 minutes felt rushed, like the Dr wasn't interested in establishing a relationship or making me feel comfortable at all.-The Dr billed me for two referrals that I specifically said no to that I already had doctors or places for!-They messed up sending my one prescription, and 6 months later I still do not have it-Its taken 6 mo to get contact with anyone. No answer at the office or to VMs, or someone telling me they will call me back and never did. - When finally answered, Dr. B was nasty to me, wouldn't let me speak at all, would talk over me and cut me off, didn't listen to what went wrong, & ended up only taking $30 off.

Amazing first visit
Dr Barbara is my new PCP. Because I have Covid, first visit had to be via phone. She is extraordinary in her thoroughness, empathy, and conservative, yet...let's find out what is wrong with you aggressiveness. I look forward to a long-term relationship with her.

I had my first visit with Dr. Denysiak today, and I'm very happy to have her as my new PCP. She is very knowledgeable and personable, and made me feel at ease throughout my appointment. She really listened to me and thoroughly addressed all of my medical concerns. She suggested a thought out care plan going forward and we have a Teledoc appointment for follow up in a few weeks. I'm very glad she is in my insurance network.

Have been seeing Dr. D through many health ups and downs over thirty years now. She is a great doctor and I now take my daughter to see her. She will take time to listen to your concerns and is great at diagnosing things. I had a rare health issue and she caught my husband's cancer early enough that he is doing well 15 years later. Don't want her to ever retire.

I went to see her as a new patient to get a prescription refill and knee pain. She never even checked my knee. 1 month and 4 phone calls later, my prescription was still not refilled and authorised. She ordered an XRay, and did not even follow up with results. I will not see her again.

In this age of managed health care, it can be a challenge to find a physician who can be characterized as a family doctor. With Dr. Denysiak I have found such a doctor. I have been under her care for over 6 years and have found her to be competent, caring and pro-active in suggesting ways to best manage my health in all respects.

she considers what you say and will speak frankly how to proceed. Dr. Denysiak does not link everything to a computer system. She runs the office on hard copies. They do use the computer for other information. You leave the office with a printout of your doctors on your plan, their specialty, phone numbers and address. She circles what you need to do and the staff follow through with getting your referrals.
