Dr. Edelstein is so knowledgeable and so thorough and so compassionate. She is one of the best in her field.

This is your one stop shop for a breast doctor. Caring, empathetic, considerate, thoughtful, and the consummate professional are only a few descriptive words that describe her. She will not let you leave the office unless she is positive what your diagnosis and mammogram status is. I am very large breasted with all sorts of cysts and there are times when I must have a sonogram along with my regular mammogram so she can be absolutely certain that I am fine and in good health. I trust her so much that I go to her for referrals and now regularly go to several doctors she has recommended!! As far as I'm concerned, Dr Edelstein's judgment is all I need and that is good enough for me. She, for years, has been among the top breast doctors in NYC and she is one of the GREATS!! Go see for yourself!

I have been seeing Dr. Edelstein for nearly 25 years and could not give a higher recommendation. Almost 6 yrs ago I was diagnosed with a very early on breast cancer which I am sure most other diagnostic radiologists would not have noticed. Even the radiology MD at Cornell Weill where I had subsequent radiology treatment mentioned that Dr. Edelstein had "eagle eyes". Dr Edelstein has managed COVID-19 visits perfectly! Mammogram and sonogram as carefully done as ever (i am a patient of 25+ years), with latest small breast cancer found by doctor only last year. Although she is on virtual call, I did not feel at all compromised on this visit. I trust her medical skills implicitly!

Dr Edelstein was highly recommended to me. I was shocked to find her both medically negligent and rude. AVOID her if you want skilled and compassionate medical care. I have NEVER written a negative review of a doctor before. With family who are physicians, I am aware that they have long hours, stressful jobs, and like all of us, aren’t always perfect. However, Edelstein did not warn me not to take certain medicines before my biopsy. She was arrogant, rushed and rude when I called after my initial consult with questions. She did not call me with the results of my biopsy, as she said she would. I was left to figure out next steps for myself. One expects better from any physician, but especially one who takes no insurance, and whose fees are very high. Perhaps her illness earlier this year has affected her ability to practice competently. If so, she should stop.

She is professional and personable but above all a superb diagnostician! I owe my life to her.

I am 53 years old and have been a patient of Dr. Edelstein's for the past 17 years. I have always had normal mammograms, but on this year's test She saw something she hadn't seen before and sent me directly for a biopsy. It turned out to be a very small cancer which I will have removed with no further treatment. Dr Edelstein is very thorough in her examination and interpreting the results. Dr. Edelstein has a wonderful bedside manner, and the office staff are all caring and professional.

Dr. Edelstein is personable and emotionally available. She remembers who you are, even though you generally only come once a year. Would not dream of seeing anyone else.
