They say never meet your heros
Back in the day, I was under the care of Amy Rauschway, who was an incredible physician herself. Dr. Green worked in the same office and I always saw her as the gold standard for MS practitioners. Now that I am seeing her directly, I am happy to report for once, I was not wrong in my thoughts/opinions. Yesterday, I saw when I had an appointment with her, I brought my son. He's 5 with ASD and ADHD, Dr. Green was so far from vexed by this that following the appointment, I felt comfortable enough to allow her to take him to get a treat. He enjoyed her so much that he wanted to go back for more time with "Barbra". I cannot explain how much that means to me as a mother. I highly recommend Dr. Barbra Green. I am definitely not someone who is easy to please, and I can't say enough positive things about her and the staff in her office.

Dr. Green is simply wonderful. She talks / listens to you in such a casual and comforting manner. She makes things much less scary. She has incredible experience/knowledge with all things related to MS. If you can get in to see her, you will be grateful you did. I have been going to her for almost 20 years.

The best MS specialist in the Midwest. Fantastic doc gets right to the problem. More knowledgeable than any doc I’ve ever seen for anything. Spends as much time as you need. Takes good care of all her patients. I seen her for about 15 years now. She always puts the patient first. Rare these days in the world of clinical trials. She wouldn’t suggest one unless she thought it would be good for you and do no harm. Really listens to you & is funny.

I had a pleasant, helpful visit with Dr. Green. I had fainting spells. She took my MS past history of 26+ years, tested my reflexes, ruled out other related issues that could factor in, put it together with the many factors involved, sifted through all that to recognize the problem, saw that it is not related to my MS, & confirmed her hypothesis with testing. She then recommended who I should see to get confirmation & treatment for all my issues. She will see me if I have fainting spells again.

Dr. Green is the best in her field! I had to switch neurologist recently when she left Mercy or I would still be her patient.

My 86 year old mother sees her for tremors she has. She is VERY thro. Spends as much time as needed with her. That is very hard to find.

Dr. Green is a wonderful Doctor! She is very informative, and takes the time to listen to your concerns. However, her staff is terrible, messages are never returned, it's been 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten my MRI results back despite leaving multiple messages! Having MS is hard enough to deal with I do not have time or patience to also have to deal with a terrible doctors office.
