Dr. Barbara Landreth, MD

Our children have been seeing Dr. Landreth for several years. She is a one professional practice who handles all your children's care herself. Her wisdom and skill far exceeds what our friends experience with their pediatricians. She not only solves health issues quickly she has kept our kids healthy. She prevents and avoids medical problems. She is quick to catch issues early on and head them off. She also helps plan out their future care. She actually calls you to check in to see how things are going! She answers her own phone! She is always available. She is simply amazing. There are too many wonderful stories to share here. To balance this review, I will say she is intense. Although she is kind and caring, some parents may find her too direct. But if you want the best for your children and are not easily intimidated by a super smart health professional who challenges you, then Dr. Landreth has to be your doctor. I can't imagine anything less for my family.

Dr. Landreth was on call for my regular pediatrician and was less than helpful. I explained that my son was coughing and had a stuffy nose. He had an upper respiratory virus two weeks ago and was not sure if he had it again or if it was now an infection. Her response was “what are you going to do?” I found this quite odd. I then asked if I should bring him in and she said no and nothing I could do but use saline. Really? I could have figured that out myself. Zero help!!!

Dr. Landreth has been my pediatrician since I was born and has helped both my family and me in a plethora of ways over the last fifteen years. With tons of dedication to her practice, a great sense of humor, and compassion, the care she provides to every patient is excellent.

Dr. Landreth is wonderful. She has a great sense of humor and is very attentive to her patients' needs. Dr. Landreth has always been available to discuss any concerns we as parents may have. She listens and gives very clear advice. Her compassion and genuine interest make her an exceptional physician.
