Dr. Barbara Nahas, MD

Barbara Nahas has been my primary care doctor for the past several years. It’s hard to find someone you can trust, is kind, and who has such a vast fund of knowledge. I used to be someone who would put off seeing my doctor, but since I started with her, I look forward to our visits. She spends her time with you. Not many like her these days. Simply the best.

Dr Barbara Nahas—- I need surgery so I’ve been looking for a primary care doctor. I wanted a woman so I called the doctor my mom used and she loved her. She was always bragging about how efficient Dr Nahas was and how comfortable she always felt when she had to go there. I made an appointment and it turned out that Angela was still the receptionist and I instantly remembered her because my mom always said how kind and compassionate she was- not many receptionist in doctors office are as kind when you called. To me that’s very important as the first line of contact. When I arrived today, I called the office from my car and Angela told me to come in. They took my temperature, brought me into a spotless examine room, had me wash my hands and take a seat. Dr Nahas spent a very long time with me taking all of my personal background then she gave me a complete physical, which is something I haven’t had in years. I have been Dr. Nahas’ patient for several years. It seems that internists in a solo practice are a rare breed these days - I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Nahas. I take great comfort in knowing that I can count on her medical expertise. She is compassionate and a great listener. She has always given me as much time as I needed - I’ve never felt rushed. I can’t recommend her more highly.

Dr. Nahas is a fantastic physician. She is caring, compassionate and kind. I’ve been treating with her for about 3 years and found her after leaving my previous physician of 13 years who became disabled and is no longer practicing. I was concerned I would not find another physician who truly cared about their patients as I’ve treated with doctors who view you as an insurance payment but this is NOT the case with Dr. Nahas. She truly cares about her patients and loves what she does. Dr. Nahas has been heaven sent for me!

Dr,. Nahas has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. She is compassionate, caring, and trustworthy. She really cares about you her patient, and makes you feel like you are a member of her family. I have been thru 3 cancers ,the last was leukemia which was horrific. She came to visit me numerous times in the hospital, and calling me on the phone ,telling me that everything would be alright, There is no other doctor like her. She is very knowledgeable and a wonderful person,

She is caring and seems interested in my issues. Tough to get through to be seen for urgent matters. Would love to see a renovated comfy waiting & exam rooms. They are clean but feel cold and dark. However, appearance of space is not a deal breaker for me, confidence in Dr. Nahas and her diagnosis is very high.

Extremely caring and thorough! Answers all your questions and you don't feel rushed. Highly recommended
