Dr. Barbara Wolock, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Wolock for years. She is professional and caring. I feel very well evaluated when I've seen her.

My experience with Dr. Wolock was very positive. My vision was slowly degrading to the point where I could not drive safely or see a computer screen easily, and I came to Dr. Wolock after three other doctors gave me three very different diagnoses. She was thorough, thoughtful, and analytical in her diagnosis and treatment of me, and spent a lot of time figuring out my eyes. She made sure that I understood her diagnosis and treatments, and fully answered all of my questions about my condition and potential risks. I trusted her to perform three surgeries and procedures on my eyes, all of which yielded excellent outcomes. She was also quite honest in advising me against having her do certain procedures she thought were too risky for me. My vision is now better than ever. I still drive an hour to see her for my eye care. Dr. Wolock is also very accessible for direct communication with patients outside of the office, plus she is a genuinely nice person. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Wolock is an excellent surgeon who restored my vision to 20/20 with cataract surgery. I would never go to anyone else! She is all business and very serious about her work.

Dr Wolock is a very compassionate eye doctor and I trust her with my eyes. She spends plenty of time with you to make sure you are heard. I can tell she cares about me as a person. I would recommend her and Grin eye care highly

I saw Dr. Wolock today and she has been my Ophthalmologist for the past 15 years. She takes care of my entire family. She is always kind, compassionate and takes the time to listen to my concerns. I have been beyond impressed with her care for many years. She is a great doctor and surgeon.

This doctor is rude. She never looks at you when talking which makes her untrustworthy. I went for my annual review and soon as I told her my dad had cataracts I could see the dollar signs in her eyes. She asked me to sign a document without giving me time to read it. Then she put me in front of the machine that blows a puff in your eye and did it six times saying her machine wasn't working right and asked me to go to the hospital because she said the Olathe hospital machine works and she could check again in between her surgeries. I wonder why she is using machines that don't work on peoples eyes. I think she is not honest with her patients. Now because of her faulty machine I see a gray line in my vision when I used to see clearly. Who can you trust these days. She works for Grin Eye Care in association with the Olathe hospital and its all about the money.

Good thing I went to see a retina specialist who treated my eye tear properly. She treated it twice unsatisfactorily. I will never recommend this doctor. I could have lost my retina if I hadn't seek further attention. No bedside manner as well.

Dr. Wolock is a very rude woman. She will not listen to her patients. It is her way or no way. She will tell you she is a doctor and she knows. I would go anywhere but here. If you tell her something she does not believe then she will set out to prove you wrong and nothing else. Run far and fast...
