The very Best 10 star dr hands down!!
Dr Grames is extremely educated and knowledgeable in his specialty. His harsh but caring reality of your injury is true to the core. He sets the recovery bar high on the scale but looks at the future of true reality. His opinion is taken very seriously though enjoys the friendly aspect as well. He was God sent and a blessing and fresh air of a huge dose of fresh air. He truly cares about individuals patients understands the horrific pain and attitudes but has a job to do! Great heart Dr G and thank you for your continued care and reality checks!

Realistic, thoughtful evaluation
Dr Grames was very clear about the potential gains from surgery compared to the ER doctor’s great job of aligning the arm break. Left the choice up to me. I was satisfied with my visit and the careful follow scheduled.

You are just a number.
Grames came into the office was more interested in the medical assistant instead of patient. Me. Prior to this I had to wait 4 weeks to get this appointment. I am a very active person, I have experience with other orthopedic surgeons and Grames is not even close to it. MRI referral is taking 4 weeks because he did close his notes and did not bother to put a stat order. I may have a torn meniscus. I don’t know yet. It’s funny because the follow up is scheduled, before I can even get the MRI because of Grames’ mistake.

Less than 5 mins per visit, errors in records
He spent less than 5 minutes at each of the 4 visits with me. He seemed to have more important things to do than listen. And after reviewing my records and natations from Dr Grames and finding numerous errors, discrepancies and falsifications, I no longer feel confident in his ability to properly diagnose and treat my injury.

THE WAITING TIME WAS TWO HOURS >PLUS
Once I saw Dr. Grames, I liked his gentle demeanor, and that he asked which options I would choose as the treatment. I give him 5 stars for how he treats his patients during the exam process. Yet, a big component of the patient's experience is the length of time they are made to wait.. I saw one man leave after waiting as long as I did, a full 2 hours. I brought a book to read, because it seems the average wait time in the waiting area averages 20 or 30 minutes. That is typical, or expected. Dr. Grames is very personable. A suggestion would be to schedule half of all those people for another day. Two hours tests your patients' patience.

Saw Dr Grames fort a trigger thumb issue (actually x2) after no improvement with P/T, braces, pain meds/creams and injections. He was so very helpful with solutions, no judgement that I immediately opted for surgery. It’s such a painful injury when dealing with digits and no other way to control it.
