Worst experience ever
Rude. Interrupts every time you try to speak. Told me to throw my DNA results in the trash and that my hysterectomy surgeon was the worst surgeon ever. Told me I was making things up after being admitted to cooper for bleeding and he refused to order the tests I needed. I went to another doctor who cooper provided immediately after this incident who couldn’t believe what he said and they immediately set up the testing I needed. This man shouldn’t touch a fish. Let alone a human being.

Rude and Expensive
When I walked into the office, Dr Kaufman said to me in a nasty voice 'Why are you here?' He proceeded to snap at me through the entire visit. I should have left. He ordered some tests...told me I needed a Colonoscopy with the lab that he owns. He still works with paper files and his office is a disaster. Just before I had the test, he came out and said to me 'You were supposed to drop off some stool samples,' again in a tone of voice that was full of disgust. No one ever gave me anything to complete these samples. I was told by the receptionist there would be no charge. Surprise, surprise. I got a bill for $1300. Then his office sent my bill to a credit agency even though I tried to work out a payment plan. This guy needs to retire. He's incredibly rude and so is his staff. The folks in his operating center were next-level disrespectful to the patients waitng to be treated. I wish I had recorded the way they were openly mocking the patients.

First time I’ve seen Dr. Kaufman. I’ve been seeing Dr. Santoro for almost 18 years. He was the most compassionate, helpful, amazing doctor ever. One visit with Dr. Kaufman and I will NEVER go back. Rude, condescending and completely offensive with a horrible bedside manner! He’s a horrible human being. Do not believe a word in his bio on the website. It’s all lies. There’s not a compassionate bone in his body.

I have been going to Dr. Kaufmann for about 8-9 years since I moved here from Florida. He was "OK" during that time I received colonoscopies, an endoscopy & several visits for other gastro issues. A month ago I made an appointment because my bloodwork came back with serious liver issues & I scheduled his first available which was 1 month away. Three hours prior he cancelled & could not reschedule for yet another month, I thought Hep-B was serious but waiting 2 months for an office visit went beyond acceptable If you're TOO BUSY to see patients when needed, shrink your practice. I found another Gastro doc who wasn't "too busy" to see patients.
