Dr. Barry Maharaj, DDS

This is my honest, heartfelt review of this practice. As a medical professional myself, I know firsthand that those who work in medicine are often the worst patients. From the moment I met Dr. Maharaj, I felt I was in safe, confident, and competent hands.Knowing how terrified I was of surgery, Dr. Maharaj took the time to go over absolutely everything with me. I even returned for a second consultation because I had more questions, and he was just as patient and thorough. The entire staff is top-notch from the warm welcome at the front desk to the calm and knowledgeable team in the back office.I’m now a few days post-surgery, and I feel great! They explained everything in detail, and even when I called with post-op questions, they were quick to respond. I wholeheartedly recommend Lansdowne Oral Surgery and Implant Centers to anyone and everyone.

Absolutely the best! He performed surgery on my Daughters for four wisdom teeth removal and three implants. The process was explained in detail along with no complications for both procedures. We felt very confident and knew we were in good hands!

Absolute best care! He always makes me feel safe and less anxious. The staff is so friendly and goes above and beyond. They’re all there whenever you need them! I love Dr. Maharaj and will never go to anyone else for dental surgery needs. They really know how to take care of their anxious patients as well.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Maharaj. He made several life threaten mistakes and never apologized. Another implant surgeon confirmed that Dr. Maharaj made that critical errors. Moreover, Dr. Maharaj rejected me as a patient. My patient' rights were totally disrespected. I don't recommend Dr. Maharaj. IFrom my experience with this doctor I learned that he has very poor qualification in the area of implant surgery. I don't recommend this doctor.

I saw Dr. Maharaj for wisdom teeth removal at Robert J Kelly, DDS. I was impressed with his knowledge and manner pre-surgery, but he ended up sewing the inside of my cheek to my gum with the stitches closing the hole where my tooth had been. After 3 days of excruciating pain, I had to take time off work to go back to the dentist and get this fixed. I never received any kind of explanation or follow-up from Dr. Maharaj. I unfortunately would not recommend him as an oral surgeon.

My daughter who is 10 yrs old had a surgery to remove her supernumerary teeth here. Dr. Maharaj suggested for a 3D scan so that it helps him to do the surgery from top of Jaw or from inside. We paid from out of pocket at so called discounted rate for 3D scan. Front office checked with my insurance and said the procedure is covered and we decided go for the surgery. On the day of surgery, he couldn't remove the teeth from top side and opened from inside as well, and insurance did cover nothing.

Is the best doctor after my opinion.I'm in USA from 2005 but never,ever I don't meet a doctor like doctor Barry.I was in pain in the last day from 2015,can you imagine is very hard to find an appointment in half hour in that day.Doctor Barry he received me in the second,when I arrived in his office.And he help me with everything,pain,contact my dentist,and after 31 dec ,he called me to see if I'm in good condition.Very rare .God Bless you Dr Barry,and your family.You are in my prayers..
