Dr Ross is the best!
Dr Ross was with me from beginning to end and I was in the hospital 3 times on unaffiliated problems. He held my hand during the tough times like when we thought I might lose my colon. My colitis is on going but Dr Ross will be sorely missed. Porter is missing a big piece of gastrointestinal care.

3rd world care
I had been having excruciating stomach pain for over a year. There was no office visit, no communication with Ross, I was just scheduled for a colonoscopy. I had to do a 2nd colonoscopy because I was not clear enough on the 1st one. again no communication with Ross. At the 2nd colonoscopy, I woke up covered in my own feces from my back to my knees, and so over anesthetized that I could barely get dressed. I had to ride home in a Medicare van like this. I could barely function for a day and a half. When I called Porter, I got a disingenuous nurse supervisor named Liz, Scottish accent, Who basically said, oh gee, sorry. She said she would contact Ross's office. Again nothing, not a word from Ross, not a follow up, NOTHING. I was treated like an animal. I called his office, Nothing. I don't know where all of these glowing reviews come from but they, in no way reflect the experience I had with this guy. I'll bet he didn't say 100 words to me during both FAILED procedures.

Dr. Ross is a total professional doctor with a great bedside manner which is so rare these days. He really listens to the patient and makes them feel as comfortable as can be in this particular area. He literally saved my life by finding a problem that no other doctor had been able to detect. He acted fast, got me the best surgeon and it was fixed.I would recommend him to anyone, any age, male or female. My only negative about him is that he moved to the West Coast. He is the absolute best!!!
