Surgically repaired injured shoulder
From calling to set up an appointment, to the first visit the whole team were great. You never want to hear that you need surgery but the confidence of the Dr. Saperia and the staff put me at ease. They all said I would be as good as new and seven weeks later all is moving forward in therapy just as I was told it would be. Start phase two next week. Very happy

I cannot thank Dr. Saperia enough
I was in a tremendous amount of pain, Dr Saperia was able to review my condition. Create a plan of action that was suitable for my situation. It took a while to recover, but I feel like I have control over my life again. I have seen Dr. Saperia for two conditions and both outcomes have been far 'Saperia' than I have expected. (That is probably pretty cheesy, but I am very grateful). Thanks.

Best doctor I've ever had!!!
Dr. Saperia actually treats you with kindness and respect. I had my shoulder operated on and it couldn't have gone smoother. He put me at ease and treated me like family. I honestly couldn't recommend him high enough to loved ones. If I could I would give this doctor 100 stars. I have gotten back to my old self again and all thanks to him. If you ever find yourself with an injury in New England I would drive from anywhere to receive his care and expertise again. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Saperia!

Excellent experience
Dr Saperia performed surgery on my right shoulder for a huge tear. I had a previous surgery on this same shoulder 9 months earlier with a different physician, but was still having issues. Dr Saperia examined me, advised, then performed the surgery. I’m on the road to recovery doing my physical therapy. I’m very happy with my progress this time. He really listened to me, never rushed me during the appointments. His staff has also been great!I would recommend Dr Saperia to anyone!

Excellent Care & Follow Up
I have been seeing Dr. Saperia for probably more than 10 years. I initially saw him for a right knee injury. My knee care started with a suggestion for PT, but later led to a partial knee replacement. I like that Dr. Saperia did not jump into a full knee replacement, when there were parts of my knee that were still in good condition. Dr. Saperia thought that I would be a very good candidate for this surgery. I was also impressed with his knowledge & experience with robotics surgery, which made my recuperation from surgery quicker. He has followed me over the years, insuring that I was recovering properly. I have since had a partial left knee replacement and arthroscopic surgery, again, on my right knee for clean up & repair. Through this all, I have been extremely satisfied with Dr. Saperia’ s knowledge, surgical skill, compassion, etc. His staff is professional and compassionate and insures that you have the best of care.

Excelent experience
I had a torn Interior Cruciate Ligament from a whitewater river running accident. He offered me two alternatives one was arthroscopic surgery. Since there was still a small portion still attached an alternative would be to allow it to grow back with working through a complex set of exercises via Physical Therapy. I went with PT and my knee fully recovered without surgery. My Wife broke her ankle in three places and he pinned the pieces together. She now is fully recovered without any signs that the ankle was ever broken except for a very small scar. Twenty years later I again hurt my knee by lifting to much weight. This tore the cartridge and left a small bone fragment in the knee. He did arthroscopic surgery and now 8 week later I have no signs of any injury except the small scar. I think the world of the Doctor and have highly recommend his services to two of my friends who think they are supermen.

He's doctor SUPERIOR to me!! He performed 2 surgeries on me in July. I had 2 meniscus tears on my right knee and a lipoma on my shoulder. Both look and feel much better. His staff is pretty amazing too. If you have a surgical issue, you can rest assured that you will be in good hands. Thank you Barry and staff!!

I would never see or advise anyone to see this quack again. The leg he operated on did not heal & got infected so he operated again 6 weeks later, still did not heal, still was infected so I went to a different surgeon who operated a couple weeks later. He was my hero!! Because of what the quack did, my surgical leg is almost an inch shorter & walking has been tough.

Entering the office, the staff was very pleasant and helpful . As for Dr. Saperia, I could have not asked for a more concerned Dr. He Is very concerned about his patience. About their concerns and issues, I had fluid buildup in my left elbow where it had to be drained, making sure that I did not feel any discomfort while draining it. He gave me a cortisone shot, Than he rapped my elbow with an ace bandage to make sure it was comfortable. while having a conversation, to make sure I was not in any discomfit. I would definitely advise family and friends that was having any issues with Rheumatologist to definitely call in make an appointment

DR. Saperia repaired my knee back in January of 2017 from injuries caused by a drunk driver. I truly cant thank him enough for his incredible surgical skill and kind bedside manner. Finding this exceptional care outside of Boston was a blessing. Consider yourself fortunate if you are lucky enough to fall under his care.
