Terrible and careless-watch out!
Dr. Barry Shaktman was my ob for the birth of my 1st child. He was checked out and would spend less than 2 minutes with me. I had Hishimoto's disease and he failed to check my thyroid levels until they were grossly out of range. I later learned that that can cause birth defects. But because he was so dismissive of my concerns, it went unchecked for months. I ended up having to find a new OB in my 7th month. And for any Mom-to-be, you know it has to be really bad to change Dr's that late in the pregnacy. He didn't care about me or my baby. He only cared about how man hours he was billing. Be careful! His greed could cost you dearly.

Dr. Shaktman save my daughter
Dr. Shaktman have saved my daughter she had serious situation and her chances to have children was not good. Dr. Shaktman Diagnose was right he operates on my daughter and now I’m a proud grandfather of three beautiful kids. God bless you Dr. Shaktman.

Do not go to this Dr if your in pain because he will not see you, he will not answer your call and you are left with pain and discomfort. If I wanted to speak to a NP I would have asked for one. How can you send your NP to tell a patient that the Dr understand you are in pain but there is nothing he can do, go to the emergency room. WHAT?? Never again.
