I saw Dr. Barry Smith for the first time today and was grateful at having chosen well. He listens carefully and explains clearly. His examination was thorough, and his manner was comforting and inspired confidence. I've found my regular dermatologist, I'm happy to say. As for the put-down reviews, and one hysterical one in particular, I can only ask: What doctor did these people see? All I can say is, the person they describe was certainly not the one who examined me today. He was first-rate. I'd recommend Dr. Smith to anyone without hesitation.

HORRIFIC!! HE is an evil cruel man with no heart. He spent no time with my daughter. Told her to ONLY RESPOND YES OR NO. HE should not be practicing medicine on anyone. He was ignorant and rude. She waited 10 days to see him with the worst flare up of her life for him to leave her in tears with his acid tongue. HE should be ashamed of himself to call himself a doctor. Doctors are caring people with hearts that hope to heal and comfort a patient. Karma will get you Dr. Barry Smith.

So sad that he never took good care of me. Never bothered to stay on my medication .He hands over his paper work to his aid &never does a follow up on the process of the next injection. I got such a flare up I had to go to the ER. Never again will I see him .

I had an appointment with this doctor for a skin cancer screen the other day at 2:45 pm. I got to his office and there were 25 people in the waiting room. I asked the receptionist how long would I have to wait and how many people were ahead of me to see him. She couldn't respond. I told her I was leaving. Then he had the nerve to label me as having missed the appointment. NO, HE MISSED THE APPOINTMENT. This is NYC. Nobody has to wait forever to see any doctor. No Respect

I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor as I did with Dr. Barry Smith. He is personable, easy to talk to, he listens, he answers your questions in a way that you understand. He does not rush the office visit. Wonderful doctor. He helped me immensely ! Wish there were more stars to give!!

Answered questions thoroughly. I appreciated that he recommended simple, low-cost treatments and monitoring rather than expensive testing, and backed up that recommendation so that it sounded like the most practical path.
