I had a very bad experience with Dr Watkins, while performing a total elbow replacement, he left a piece of wire on my radial nerve causing radial palsy. He kept saying oh your wrist and fingers will straighten, give it 9 months, 1 year, 2 years, well it's been over a decade, and my radial nerve is still damaged, unable to straighten out my fingers. He dropped me as a patient after going to him for 13 years, pretending he didn't know me. I don't think he had ever performed a total elbow replacement, I was his practice doll. I had a total of 6 or more surgeries with him on that elbow, loose hinge, tricep detachment and many more complications. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Watkins preformed a release surgery on my forearms. Before the surgery he told me he could "fix" me (forearms hardened and numbness in hands bilaterally) but it would not be pretty. I was a 42 year old female and the thought of having Frankenstein scars. I would recommend Dr. Watkins. Six years later my arms are perfect, fully functional and scars hardly visible...Dr. Watkins stitched me up like a plastic surgeon. Thank You Dr. Watkins. Sincerely Sheri Vieira
