Had a serious problem with a 6 mm kidney stone (a bout 1/2 an inch wide). Marin General took one look at the cat scan and said the there was no way anyone was going to pass this big of a stone. Both Dr. Gershbein and his team went into overtime to get me scheduled (not an easy thing to do on short notice) for a sonic procedure to explode to stone. Dr. Gershbien stayed with me though the entire procedure to make sure the sonic tech guy found and got the stone. The Gershbien team was a class act

Dr Gershbein is a compassionate physician, talented surgeon and a man with a great sense of humor. I spent several months with the good doctor and his great staff in procedures to relieve stress on my kidneys and subsequently to prepare for a very successful T.U.R.P It is now over a year after the surgery and I checked in with Dr.Gershbein for an evaluation and all systems are go.
