Dr. McKinney was very professional and upfront about my recurring shoulder dislocation. He did an excellent job with surgery and I have minimal scars. I participate in one level below professional motocross and could have not ask for a better doctor. I went to physical therapy and followed all guidelines and my bad shoulder is now bigger and more stable than my good shoulder. He even called me 48 hours after surgery to make sure I was doing ok. He was also open to any questions. Amazing Doctor.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Where should I start? I am a healthy male in his mid-20's. I had torn my labrum in my shoulder while playing basketball and went to Appalachian Ortho for professional expertise. I was linked to Dr. McKinney where I followed standard tests and procedures prior to his recommendation for surgery to repair the damage in my shoulder. After following everything with obsession, supervision, and complete dedication, my surgery was undone while engaging in MODERATE activity.
