AMAZING!!!
I love Dr. Wax. Very knowledgeable, caring and really listens. He is very good at explaining what is going on. He has treated me for my back and I love that he offers non invasive solutions to help with my pain. I would recommend him to anyone.

I went to Dr. Wax with a broken wrist and a cast that another doctor had put on my arm so tightly that my hand swelled so big it looked like a balloon. My daughter, who is a nurse at West Jeff, said I needed to see Dr. Wax. He examined x-rays of the break in my wrist and told me my options. I opted for surgery, and I am so glad I did. The surgical scar from the place where Dr. Wax inserted a small metal plate is almost invisible. Recovery with an occupational therapist Dr. Wax referred me to was seamless. My entire experience with Dr. Wax was positive and even upbeat. I highly recommend Dr. Wax and his team.

Very poor, I would not recommend him to my family or friends. He has no compassion and does not pay attention to what the patient is saying. He seems distracted and not fully engaged with his patient. Preconceived ideas about what the patient should be feeling regardless of what the patient says.

Dr. Wax was the best! My husband needed minor but immediate hand surgery a few days before a scheduled trip, and Dr. Wax gave us the best care imaginable. He put us at ease, handled the situation confidently, and with empathy. We can’t thank Dr. Wax enough!

I initially went to Dr. Wax after getting injured at work and being treated for a sprained thumb for six weeks at the occupational health center. After 2 1/2 months of treatment, he told me that there was no medical explanation for my pain even though it was the same pain I had when I went there. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone! He sent me to therapy for 4 weeks and gave me a cortisone injection. When that didn't work, he said there was no medical explanation for my pain. He treated me for two months only to say that there shouldn't be anything wrong with me! Not happy!!!

Professional, Clean, No infection, the staff was great, the surgery center was just as good. Dr. Wax also had knowledge of my work conditions in the oil field. He explained conditions in my own work environment to avoid. When your talking about hands and fingers choosing the best is a must. Thanks to Dr. Wax and his staff. Regards, Alex

Dr. Wax is a very thorough and efficient doctor. Great bedside manor. Explained every detail of surgery to my husband and I both before and after the surgery. Would say if you need an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Wax is the doctor you want. We drive from Mississippi to have surgery done and all follow up.

We saw Dr. Wax when my 4 year old fractured his wrist (We didn’t have surgery- only a cast) We really liked him. He was very nice, knowledgeable, and great with our kid. We were able to get a same-day appt, and we never had to wait more than 2 minutes in the waiting room. We never felt rushed when we were with him. I’d recommend him!

.While Dr. Wax is an amicable doctor who spends all the time needed per patient, he seems to lack the understanding and compassion when it comes to crippling pain. I intend to pursue a second opinion even though I agree about the knee replacement surgery. He offered little alternatives to curb the pain until I built up enough time to take off from work. I most likely would not recommend Dr. Wax to anyone I care about.

Not at all satisfied with my hand surgery preformed by barton wax on October 5,2016. Wax has a pleasant personality and he led me to believe l would have a successful out come.I trusted him and now I have 50% or less of hand strength, more pain, swelling and cant make a tight fist. If l had a choice to do it over l WOULDN'T. Now l wonder if this botched surgery had anything to do with his anger right before my operation . He should have cancelled my surgery.
