Dr. Beata Kis, MD

I have some concerns about provider notes and provider bias in my medical records that are seriously affecting my quality of care. I continue to suffer with complex systematic illness and she was very rude, disressprctful, interuptive and labeling and not helpful, blaming me the patient, saying I'm delusional etc., and it's not acceptable, especially considering the seriousness of my condition. Dr. B. Kis kept interupting, diciplining me, doubting everything I said and refused to listen. She also twisted and misinterpreted every word I said, and included things that she shoud not have included, like I had a winni the poo blanket in the video (to try to discredit and embarrass me). My cardiac problems are diabling and she keeps downplaying my palpitations and racing heart saying it's not a big deal, that 180 AFTER stoping excersise is normal etc., it isn't. The heart is suppose to go down when you stop excersing, not go up to 180 from 140. And I can't explain because she keeps interupti

She is absolutely dedicated to her patients, especially geriatric patients, and goes out of her way to accommodate our needs. Speaks with a Hungarian accent so you need to listen closely, but she is very willing to repeat anything a patient misses. Best internist I've ever had.

I absolutely love Dr. Beata Kis as my doctor because she is not only my physician but a role model. This woman has transformed my life from being unhealthy to being healthy again. While other doctors recommended weight loss surgery, she coached me along and I was able to lose 60lbs on my own. This lady gave me hugs and so much support and encouragement which allowed me to feel good about myself again. Dr. Kis has never made me feel like she did not have time for me. A genuine person always!

Dr. Kis has been my primary care provider for more than 2 years. She’s very, very thorough, asks questions, and listens carefully to responses. She is open to patient questions and never seems rushed. She explains what she’s doing in examinations and why she’s doing it. Dr. Kis is also very kind and pleasant. I highly recommend her!
