Dr. Beau Kirkwood, DO

I made an appointment here because I was referred to by a major client of theirs. I should preface by saying that because of my anxiety, I had not been to an MD in many years so I allowed my conditions to progressively get worse. All I did was 'confess' my concerns for him to suggest OTC Meds. Im over 30, I think I know how OTCs work. He rushed me and himself out and asked me to come back because according to him he had already spent too much time with me (25min). When I questioned it, he got visibly upset and basically walked out. No solution, treatment or advice was given. Physicians like him are why people like him dont like to go to the Dr. I thought they were supposed to care at least a little bit.

I am happy I found Dr. Beau Kirkwood. I have no idea why people left reviews that he didn't answer questions. Very patient and knowledgeable.

Dr. Kirwood ignored me on each visit. I tried explaining that my blood pressure had been too high for the past two months, He had me taking enalapril 5mg, I had to double the dosage of the enalapril, I then ran out, I call Dr. Kirwood, explained to him what was taking place, but he refused to refill and told me to make an appointment, which I did, my husband, being concerned about my situation gave me his Lisinopril 40 mg instead, it brought my blood pressure to and acceptable level, I remained on the Lisinopril up to the Office visit, after the consult, he told me that my blood pressure was fine, I explained to him that it was due to the fact that I was taking Lisinopril 40mg, he refused my request for a higher dosage, and kept me on the 5 mg 1 daily, my husband told me to remain on his Lisinopril 40 mg until I found a doctor who would be more caring and listen to my concerns, Dr. Kirwood iny opinion is extremely negligent in his practicing of medicine, I do not recommend him at all.
