clavicle
Visits seemed rushed. He was out the door without truly answering my questions. My clavicle and shoulder never healed. I am with a different orthopedic. After 9 months of pain I am now having surgery to put a plate on my collarbone. If only he listened to me when I was trying to tell him something wasn't right.

Love Dr Sass
When I moved to Brunswick 2021, I contacted Dr Sasser as I have had shoulder issues (arthritis, torn rotator cuff, and bone spur) and relied on steroid shots. This year he X-ray’ed my shoulder again as it had been a year. I was now bone on bone, and we agreed reverse total shoulder replacement was necessary. I had the surgery done last month, and have healed up nicely. I am in the midst of physical therapy and am very happy with the surgery, and Dr Sasser’s thorough explanations.

Top tier physician!!!!
I saw Dr Sasser this week for what I thought might be a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. After ordering five x-rays at different angles he determined that my pain was coming from acute mussle strain and some arthritis. His manner was very professional, asked several detailed questions about my activities and overall health while digesting I follow a regimene of heat and anti inflamitorys and to come back in three weeks if my pain had not gotten significantly better. He gave me a five page print out explaining in words and drawings his diagnosis as well as recomended treatment. I don’t ever recall any doctor that I cave ever seen giving me so much detailed printed matter. I would definitely see him again for any orthopedic problem that I might have and would not hesitate to recommend him to a family member or friend.

My experience with Dr. Sasser has truly been a blessing to my 85 year old mother with Alzheimer's and Dementia who is African American. My mom broke her hip for the first time in her life back in November 2017. His heart is huge and caring. I read the reviews and almost allowed my self to be deterred but THANK GOD I didn't because this man Dr. Sasser is our HERO. My mom has had NOT one single PAIN from the moment he did a partial replacement, I mean NOTHING hurts in her hip and that was my biggest fear for my mom and her not being able to walk. Thank God for you Dr. Sasser

Dr Sasser did a total knee replacement on my right knee. He takes time to listen to your concerns and answer questions. Compared to other surgeons he sees you more times in the first 6 weeks after surgery and the stitches are dissolvable.

I had very painful hip bursitis. I tried all non-invasive treatments. After a year and a half of not being able to walk very far and not being able to attend my exercise classes including yoga I asked Dr. Sasser what else could be done. He said he could do two small arthroscopic incisions and remove the inflamed bursa and to reduce tension on the tendon that glides over it. Out-patient surgery went well. Now 2 months out, I am back exercising and moving about pain free.

Dr. Sasser preformed a reverse shoulder replacement and a hip replacement for me, with both being very successful . I give him and his staff a "AT A BOY AND GIRL" for the info and care he and staff have given me, post procedures, especially calling me at home to check on how I was healing.

Dr Sasser at all times had my best interests at heart. Professional, with a wonderful "bedside manor". I always felt confident in his prognosis of where I was in the healing process of my rotator cuff surgery. I can't say enough good, no, great things about Dr Sasser other than thanks for looking after me so well!

Dr. Sasser and staff in the old location not so good. With the new location and redesign of how you flow through office, so much better. He is more patient and takes time to answer questions. The wait time is nothing like before. Again in old location you had to take 1/2 the day off, this new location you can be in and out within 45 minutes. Overall a really good experience and I would recommend him.
