Excellent Provider
Polite, professional staff, and clean office. Dr. Barrak took the time to ensure I had all my questions answered, while showing a genuine interest in getting to know me as a person, in addition to as a patient. I left the office relieved, and I’m very satisfied with the treatment plan. Without reservation, I’d recommend Dr. Barrak to anyone seeking a PCP.

The Bloomfield office staff is the worst staff I have ever dealt with. They were extremely RUDE and actually rolled their eyes at me at the front desk. They filled out an appointment card for me and they wrote 1/7/22, however my actual appointment was on 1/17/22 - their mistake. When I showed up for my appointment on the 7th, the front desk staff never once said "I'm sorry" and kept saying "you should have known you didn't have an appointment today since we didn't call you 2 days ago to remind you". When I told her I was a new patient and didn't know their process, she actually rolled her eyes at me and snickered to her coworker. When I asked her if she just rolled her eyes at me, she repeated that I should have known I didn't have an appointment because I didn't get a reminder call. Her coworker spoke very rudely to me next and said "your appointment is on the 17th and you can go now!" I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PRACTICE AGAIN AND I ADVISE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME !!

I chose Dr Barrak as my PCP several years ago when I moved to Hartford, after "interviewing" at least 10 other doctors that I was not impressed with. I made a great choice. He's not only very knowledgeable, he's also a nice person who will really LISTEN to you and explain things to you. He's not arrogant and dismissive of his patients' concerns, as many doctors are. Best doctor I've ever had.
