My sick-visit to Dr.Daniel.
I scheduled my appointment with her for 4 days after my sickness. As I was coughing, fever, headache. I went to her office but she rejected to see me, since I was still having symptoms. Understandable. During e-visit on the same day, she just advised me to take a allergy medicine. Of course allergy medicine didn’t help me on my fever, strong headache and terrible cough. Two days later, I called her office, I said I lost my smell and taste, I am not sure how long I was like this. This might be a COVID?. She scheduled e-visit for the following day. On e-visit she told me to go to an Emergency Clinic near by. If you are sick, don’t go to her. Although I do not know how she handles a regular Dr.visit.

My experience has been that Dr Daniel has a dismissive attitude and contradicts her own advice within consultations. Trust is hard to establish. I had a scary visit to the ER after a change to my medication. Afterwards, I made an appointment with a cardiologist to get to the bottom of things. When I mentioned this to Dr Daniel, her reaction seemed flippant and minimizing. Once I actually saw the cardiologist, he put me on double the dose of the medication she had told me to completely stop taking. I just never felt as though my health or stats really mattered at all when she was my doctor.

The doctor has no interest in patient's health. The only concern is billing. Doctor prolongs treatment for the sake of getting more appointments.

Was extremely unhappy with Dr. Beena. She was very unhelpful and talked to me in a way as if I was stupid. Waited over a month for her to tell that she wouldn’t fill out paperwork that she said she’d have filled out in a couple of days. Absolutely terrible would not recommend her to anyone.

I wasn't too thrilled with my visit with Dr. Daniel while she was with Virtua (before Jefferson). When I complained about experiencing aches and joint "popping" in my hip, I was informed that it wasn't my hip that was bothering me, it was my kidney. This left me wondering which medical texts she studied. I was also greatly discouraged from seeing an orthopedic specialist to further investigate the hip problems. It doesn't seem to be a healthy way to discuss a patient's medical questions. Or is it?

Needed medical advice for mother's episodic nighttime psychotic 'breaks' due to dementia which resulted in self inflicted hematomas and exhaustion. I called on day one and expected a call back in 24 to 48 hours as stated on the offices' answering machine. I called again on day two re-stating the situation and the need for medical advice. I did not receive a call back. On day three I called and was directed to leave my message on another answering machine. This time I stated that neglecting to call me back constituted a refusal to treat my mother. If Dr. Daniel wished to dispute that statement, then I should receive a callback. I did not! On day four, I arrived shortly after the office opened. I loudly recounted my messaged attempt at contacting my mother's physician when she was in need of help and I was there to hear an answer. A crowd of curious staff faces had gathered at a nearby room door frame. When asked which doctor my mother saw, Dr. Daniel's face quickly pulled out of view.

I want to thank Dr. Daniel for her kindness and care for my mother. My mother was not able to see her current doctor and Dr. Daniel was available to step in for her associate. She was great with my mother and prescribed some antibiotics, arranged for labwork, and scheduled a follow-up. After, she referred her to a wonderful specialist. I am so grateful to her. I have confidence in this doctor as she is competent, caring, and thorough.

Was supposed to call in my prescription for a refill and never did it. Despite 3 follow-up calls, 25 days later I still don't have my prescription. Ever since Jefferson took over this practice, it's gone drastically downhill overall.

Long time patient – Nov 13, 2019
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Daniel?
Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Talked "at" me instead of "to" me. My visit was two-fold: had an earache and wanted to get my prescriptions renewed because doctor I was seeing for years left the practice. Criticized everything my previous doctor did from the type of medications he gave me to the dosage to the way he cleaned my ears! She was also condescending and talked to me like I've never visited a doctor before. The visit was a waste of time and deductible. Dr. Daniel needs a workshop in beside manner and how to listen to her patients.

I saw this doctor as a new patient having just moved to the area. From the moment I met her I felt she exhibited an astonishing lack of compassion and empathy. She dictated a plan of care versus discussed a plan of care and did not have any consideration for for how I felt, or for my circumstances and why her plan would not work for me. She was abrupt and cold and left me in tears. She has no business working in family medicine as her bedside manners were atrocious.
