Dr. Benjamin Hung, MD

Saw Dr. Hung for a gallbladder removal. He was super personable. I was able to get scheduled quickly, he answered all my questions and explained things clearly. His nurse was very kind and helpful. My surgery went smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr. Hung!

Having a miserable right side pain,it was determined I was having a possible G/B attack,I went to the ER. Had a CT and Ultrasound confirming my G/B was being a nuisance!! The ER Dr. consulted with Surgical Assc. and Dr. Hung was the "on-call"surgeon,we met in the ER,and his consultation with me led to having surgery to remove the G/B!! THANK-GOD for Dr. Hung. G/B is gone! Dr.Hung was excellant in explaining what was going to need to happen,his bedside manner was remarkable.Very kind,considerate and compassionate to the situation. Everything was in motion quickly,and before I knew it I was in surgery. Walked into the hospital at 12:30 PM....and walked out at 6:00PM same day! No issues from Pre-op or Post-op...everyone was like "well-oiled" machines going about what is probably quite routine for them. Soooo....how do I spell relief,I'd have to say it's Dr.Benjamin Hung! I would recommend him and most likely any of the surgeons at Surgical Assc. THANK-YOU

I had the gastric sleeve done 3 years ago and I love dr. Hung he is a compassionate and very caring to each patient. I was having problems with reflex and called another Dr. Himself right away and we got the problem fixed. What I love about the Dr. Is they call you to see how you are doing Because of the problems I had people ask me if I would have it done again. And my answer is YES. I would go through everything all over again I went from 280lbs down to 160lbs and got off some medication and still working on getting off more . I am a diabetic and slowly getting off those meds. I am very happy with this decision I made and so is my family and close friends . Soo if you are thinking about this procedure go talk to Dr. Hung he is great. Yes the first few weeks are hard but stick with it. It’s worth having this done for your health M

Dr. Hung repaired a substantial Hiatal Hernia which had been a long standing problem for me. He is highly skilled at both explaining a procedure and carrying it out. He, and all his staff are considerate, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the communication of how things would go, the consistent and kind care and follow up from Dr. Hung and the Surgical Associates practice.

He is kind, patient and listens to you. He explains everything and is more than willing to answer questions you have. He genuinely cares about his patients. He and his staff are absolutely amazing!!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hung when I had my gastric sleeve procedure a year ago. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Dr. Hung and his nurse, Lisa, are so kind and knowledgeable. We have had several experiences with Dr. Hung and we trust in his care and guidance. I highly recommend Dr. Hung. He is an excellent technical surgeon and is efficient in his pre and post surgical visits. I underwent a Nissen Fundoplication and had absolutely no problems with the surgery or the recovery. His nursing and office staff are also caring, compassionate and efficient.

Both appointments I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes! Surgery was a pleasant experience & I healed quickly. I will be going back to Dr. Hung again for gallbladder removal. Staff is super nice as well.r

Dr. Hung saved my life. The emergency surgery he performed on me was serious---life threatening. My condition was a very rare case and one that he had not experienced. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for saving my life under very harrowing conditions. My hat is off to Dr. Hung. He is the surgeon you want. I chose Dr. Hung in July of 2018 for an umbilical hernia, unknowing that he was the main surgeon back in 2015. I had fallen and ruptured my spleen unknowingly and arrived at the hosp. unresponsive for 20-30 min. The ER staff was amazing and once stable I now find out 3 years later that Dr. Hung was my surgeon. I'm not a "Bible Thumper" but I believe Dr. Hung is on the top of someone's list. My recent surgery went very well and home the next day. Thank you!!!! K

Dr. Hung is an excellent surgeon and I had excellent results from my surgery. I would recommend him to anyone. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to.
