Incompetent staff
Made it very clear what my insurance coverage was and my concerns with Kam being in my network. Was assured I was fine, Kam was in my network. Nope! $300 plus bill. Thanks alot. For a 5 min visit and SURPRISE not covered. I complained to scheduling who transferred me to billing who blew me off.

Dr. Kam is a straight shooter when it comes to Hip surgery. He told me what was wrong with my hip and what he could do to help. I will only refer people to him.

Dr. Kam was the orthopedic surgeon at the emergency room when I broke my arm. He was very concerned about the issue since I was undergoing Chemo for breast cancer. I followed his advice until it was determined that surgery was the best option. His office scheduled the surgery the next day and I am on the mend, I can not say enough good things about Dr. Kam, he even called me on Sunday after the surgery to see how I was doing.

Saw him a while back for shoulder pain and he seemed very rushed and impatient. Instead of answering my questions, he gave me a handout on my condition and said it's all in there. Not good. Follow-up visit was better but that could be because he had a student shadowing him. Overall, if I have to see an orthopedist again I would choose someone else.

Left appointment practically in tears. I had tried for two years to get a joint replacement surgery to walk normally again. But when I arrived, he took an xray and didn't even look at the MRI report I had -- specifically for the surgeon I would be seeing. He asked how long I had pain and if there was an original injury. Years, I said, and told him what joint I had injured. Even though it had been documented nine times over by PT's, docs, acupuncturists, and chiropractors, he said there's no way I could have injured that joint and said someone had fed me a line of crap for years. He asked me to explain again, without mentioning that joint or using the word chiropractor (he doesn't believe in the therapy). The whole appointment was spent debating this when it was supposed to be about a separate joint replacement. In end, wanted to do injections for several years, fearing the artificial joint would wear out. I could hardly walk then! Found new surgeon & had it done -- happy now!

I have seen Dr. Kam in 2019 for treatment on both knees. I have arthritis in both and a torn miniscus on one of my knees. The pain was unbearable and it got to where I couldn't walk. Dr. Kam recommended 4 weekly treatments of Euflexxa in both knees and I am happy to say I can walk again and have minimal pain. He is a very kind person, innovative, communicates well, and my partner (he had full knee replacement) and I just love Dr. Kam. We would recommend him to others with knee issues.

I have had both of my knees replaced (TKR) by Dr. Kam in the last 18 months. My experience both in the pre- and post-surgery appointments, and in the actual surgeries, has been fantastic. Dr. Kam and his terrific staff are absolutely great, and I wouid recommend them all to everyone.

My appointment was rescheduled twice. When I finally did get in to see the doctor he was 1 hour and 40 minutes late. They took my $50.00 copay and the doctor saw me for only 2 minutes. He claimed that my insurance would not pay for an mri for my shoulder until I had physical therapy (not true according to my insurance company). I told the doctor that I cannot afford the copay for physical therapy, he told me to go to Walmart and get an elastic band and to do excercises. AVOID THIS DOCTOR!!!

My daughter just had surgery yesterday for, not only a tear, but also a split in the labral tissue in her shoulder playing basketball. Coming highly recommended by my primary physician and physical therapist, we went to Dr. Kam for help. He was so meticulous and professional. We knew every step he was going to make before and after the surgery. There were no surprises and he did an awesome job! We can't thank him enough for his help for he was a true hero in my daughter's eyes and in ours.

I had extensive knee reconstructive surgery due to an atv accident in May 2017. After the accident, I was in a wheelchair as I couldn’t put any weight on my knee at all. The damage was extensive, ACL wrecked, MCL tear, fractured bone, etc. I saw Dr. Kam after an emergency room visit and MRI. He got me into surgery within days. After the surgery, I came back for my first appointment in 3 weeks and I cried. He made me push at every visit to get better. He made me push in PT to get better.

The office in general needs to work on communication. After having difficulty with scheduling my surgery I was very pleased with Dr. Kam. He was very thorough in explaining what would happen and made himself available by giving his cell number after I left the hospital. I would gladly recommend him to anyone.
