Strongly Recommend Dr Kauffman
My family and I have been using Dr Kaufman for many many years. We all LOVE him. He has done cataract surgeries on 4 eyes of my family and they are all very happy with the outcome. Most of us go to him with eye issues but we started as check ups. I find the office staff to be very efficient and pleasant. He will tell you if he is concerned about an eye issue and then he will watch it. We don't need to worry about it because we know that he is in our corner and will take care of the problems we have. I strongly recommend him for all eye issues.

Sorry, not sorru
Made an appointment with this office. Went to the appointment, filled out paperwork and gave my insurance and ID. Even though when I made the appointment they asked for the same things. I was then told that the office does not take that insurance. After taking a day off from work and prolonging the care that I needed, they just didn't seem to care. Sad.

Terrible experience with a cataract. Right Eye, removed cataract, left in residual cortex which floated right back over my pupil 24 hours later. Offered to do surgery again. I didn't know that I would have to pay for the surgi center. More important, Kauffmann led me to believe that there were no Anestiesiologists available in the 5 county area. He did this to save money. He told me that drug additcs and alcoholics are treated this way. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. PERIOD!
