THE best investment I've made in my health!
Metzger Concierge Services definitely backs up its claims to BE 'concierge'! Dr. Metzger has always been an incredible doc, serving my wife and I for almost a decade now. He is never unprepared for a chat, appt. or review, is knowledgeable in so many arenas of medicine, has true concern for the welfare of his patients, and his response times to my health-related inquiries are off-the charts impressive. Yes, there's a not-insignificant annual fee to pay in order to be a member of his new concierge service practice. But..Doc Metzger will consistently respond to my questions within 24 hours, and if I want to set up an appointment? I can go in the very next day! 'Concierge' indeed..and worth every penny, IMHO! Nurse Vicki is terrific as well, as are the two reception galz, Briana and Lulu.

Billing nightmare
I concur with the other negative review regarding billing. They code it in such a way the insurance denies it. Then they can charge an exorbitant amount. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me. I believe the office is dishonest. Now the Doctor wants to charge $5000 a year to visit his practice in addition to insurance. Trying to get as much money as he can.

an incredible caring and humble brilliant doctor
he gives me all the time i need to have my questions answered. He is always calm which helps my massive anxiety. He even takes the time to give me information such as back pain or what to take for chronic constipation magnesium citrate which is the ONLY thing that works for my problem. He is such a special man and he makes me feel safe and I always feel free to contact him with questions. bobby yellin

Go here if you want to spend every lunch for a week on the phone with billing offices, insurance claims offices, and collections agency offices all because your doctor of 12 years sent the claim for your annual check-up to insurance about 9 months too late, and then when he was told he missed the claim filing deadline, decided to multiply the bill by three and refer it to a collections agency. Wow. What a week it's been for me. Thank you Dr. Metzger. Thank you Teri, his receptionist. Thank you to his billing people. I've loved spending my lunches on hold and going back and forth with billing departments. it's been so fun. And the sad thing...because teri wouldn't put me through to discuss the matter with the doctor person to person and nobody from his office would call me back..it looks like this saga will continue.

I have ckd and he told me not to worry about it because I'll be dead before my kidneys give out. Then w/o my knowledge he made an appt with a kidney specialist ( which he is not). Availability is awful - 1 1/2 months for an appt. So if you need a doctor for kidneys...find someone else and as a primary, what good is he if you can't get an appt. Don't bother bringing him your medical records nor tell him what meds you are on because he doesn't listen.
