Failed to recognize stress fracture
Told my son his foot was not fractured and told him he could continue to run on it without risk of further injury. We then went to another doctor and learned the foot was fractured and further injured by continued use.

Left feeling judged
Poor communication skills, when explaining what was going on with my knee pain he redirected and did not communicate what was actually happening or allowed for questions. I’ve been having knee struggles for several years and he immediately started doing different tests on my knee without explanation as to why or how that would feel, it became painful and he was going so fast I could not articulate what the feeling was other than painful. He also reflected that any normal person can do a ”single leg squat“ implying that I have not worked out or tried to improve my physique or mobility since the knee pain has started. I am a fully mobile 31-year-old adult female who works out 3-5 times a week. Extremely Poor bedside manner, the worst part is there is not time to ask questions or digest the information given. All in all I felt dismissed, unheard, and shamed.

Took my friend in after she hurt her knee and could not walk after. He was nice and so were all his staff. Our problem was he did not explain what happened to her knee and told her to come back. When the pain persisted and her mobility became more of an issue we came back, again he did not explain what was going on nor take any scans to rule out anything. Although he is a pleasant person he lacks proactive diagnosis and treatment skills.
