I have known Dr. Potter and gone to Him for procedures on two occasions, twice for Colonoscopy and one of those times for upper Endoscopy as well. He is thorough and kind and his expertise and experience are very evident. He uses humor and down to earth, and most importantly He is kind. I would recommend Him to anyone and I indeed have.

I have seen Dr. Potter twice (EGD & colonoscopy) and highly recommend him based on his professional expertise, communication skills (clear and thorough explanations), and the most helpful and pleasant staff.

I would stay away from him. He misdiagnosed an intestinal obstruction twice and also missed a precancerous polyp. He is egotistical and directs conversations his way, instead of listening to patients. He will also let his office staff take the blame for his wrongdoings. He's not to be trusted.

This HACK perforated my mothers ascending colon during a routine scoping. While waiting with her after the procedure, he seemed more concerned about pulling his lobster traps later that afternoon, rather than the health of his patient. He could hardly contain himself. He talked so fast and was obviously in a hurry to get on the water. My mother almost died. Thats no exaggeration. Avoid this careless, fast talking, revolving door hack. He cares more about lobsters than his patients.

I saw Dr. Potter for an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and camera scan. After the procedures I was given an explanation of what he saw. The most impressive part of all this was meeting with Dr. Potter a couple weeks after the procedures and he went over all the findings. He was the first doctor I have seen that actually didn't just say you need to loose weight. He explained it all and gave me helpful advice on eating and some exercise tips. He did not seem rushed and was not typing notes. Great Doc.
