I cannot recall the last time (if ever) that I left online feedback or a review for any product or service. This experience warrants it.I am an older martial artist with an active lifestyle. I met with Dr. Bennie Chiles after months of excruciating and debilitating back and groin pain. I was at the end of my rope.Dr. Chiles met with me, gave me practical advice, and jumped through hoops to navigate my 'emergency' need, accompanying health issues that needed to be considered, and all parties' schedules. His staff was proactive and made the process as easy as possible. Dr. Chiles's surgery on my spine resulted in me going from being unable to stand or walk for more than several seconds without pain to a full return to fitness and martial arts.I am forever grateful and recommend Dr. Chiles without reservation.

Awesome surgeon who is empathetic, authentic and sincere.

I had back pain for many years. It got worse and it affected my walking. I was told by another doctor that I would need surgery based on the findings of an MRI. I was scared and reluctant to have surgery. I decided to seek a second opinion and made an appointment with Dr Chiles. He ordered a new MRI and the findings were the same. I had spinal stenosis which was so bad that I needed surgery to correct it or live with it and live with excruciating pain the rest of my life. Dr Chiles was very patient and he explained in detail my spinal stenosis, surgery and, possible complications. He also assured me that I would be able to walk after surgery. I was very scared but he reassured me. I was very pleased to move forward with surgery. Dr Chiles and his team were there for me before, during, and after surgery. They truly exhibited professionalism in their work and the surgery has been very successful. It’s been two months and my healing has been very rapid and I am walking well with no pain

Dr. Chiles is an amazing surgeon. I had a laminectomy done 2 years ago by a different surgeon which did not help my overall issue. Dr. Chiles performed a one level fusion of the L4/L5 and I am very pleased with my lesser degree of pain and a much quicker recovery. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone having spinal issues.

Upon receiving the results of a routine CT scan done by my ENT I was informed of a serious incidental involving my cervical spine . I was instructed to seek the advice of a spinal specialist immediately. I choose Dr Chiles based on that he successfully operated on my husband the year prior. After consulting with Dr Chiles, he moved swiftly to perform a much needed surgery which could have potentially been a catastrophic disaster! I felt safe and confident going into surgery because of the professionalism displayed by Dr Chiles and his office staff. The individual attention and thorough follow up care were impeccable. Excellent bed side matter Highly trained in his speciality meticulous in his surgical procedure plans for the patient best outcome. Descriptively explains in detail the entire surgical process, and post care. Dr Chiles is down to earth after speaking with him my husband’s decision for surgery was made easy easy.

I took my Father to several well regarded orthopedic and Neuro Surgeons for pain that was keeping him from walking longer than 10 minutes. When we met Dr Chiles for a second opinion we felt confident, comfortable reassured, and we both knew Dr Chiles was the Surgeon who needed to do the surgery. Dr Chiles spends time, completes a full exam reviews imaging and provides a complete explanation of the surgery. He is realistic and explained fully the recovery process and the outcome expected. The office staff is excellent. They have alot of Patience. The surgery went well without any complications. Recovery was as Dr Chiles had described. I have full confidence in Dr Chiles, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an opinion regarding surgical options for spinal issues. We got lucky the day we met him. He is a truly special surgeon. His team is fantastic.

Four years ago I had a cervical discectomy and fusion with Dr. Chiles and he explained everything and answered all my questions before I even had to ask. His staff is amazing as well, Jessica and Sara are very kind and helpful. The surgery was very successful. So when I started having lower back issues and nothing was helping I was told to see a surgeon. I knew without a doubt Dr. Chiles would be the surgeon to see! Once again he explained the issues and we decided that a lumbar laminectomy and fusion was our next step. I had the surgery about 6 weeks ago and I am amazed at just how well I’m doing. Before the lumbar surgery I was able to meet with the assisting surgeon..and as we spoke he said to me “Don’t worry you are in good hands…I have worked with Dr. Chiles for many years and he is an amazing surgeon. He is at the TIPPY TOP of the TOP NOTCH!” I said “Thank you and I absolutely agree!” So the only thing left to say is “Thank you Dr. Chiles!”

I was paralyzed from the pain in my lower back and struggled to find a doctor that would honestly share my diagnosis and options and within days Dr. Chiles had a thorough explanation and a plan with option to cater to my need and providing options to allow to pick what I was comfortable with. I had an L5S1 fusion, with no expectation of drop foot recovering, and scared that my sciatica would remain as I had a prior surgery that did not fix the problem. Four weeks after surgery, not only am I out of sciatic pain, but I am able to wiggle my toes on the drop foot, which is the beginning of recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Bennie Chiles III. I felt safe and cared for pre, during, and post my surgery.

Excellent. Dr.Chiles performed a lumbar fusion surgery on my lower back 7 years ago and did a excellent job so knowing I needed more surgery on my spine I never even questioned going to see a different surgeon. As far as I’m concerned he’s 2 for 2, 100 percent in my book !!

He took care of my pain, provided a correct diagnosis unlike the provider I saw before him. He performed surgery after explaining the procedure He did exactly what he explained to me . He listened to my concerns. I am on the road to total recovery thanks to his skills
