Dr. Bernard Garcia, MD

I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Garcia approximately six years ago. he is extremely knowledgeable imp, professional. When we temporarily moved out of state, I was able to maintain my relationship with him using Icarevip.com. I worked in the medical field for 15 years, I know a good doctor when I meet one. Dr. Garcia has been the one constant I know I can always depend on.

Dr. Garcia was a good doctor but seemingly disappeared without regard for his patients. Reviews on this site and others say the same thing. He had long time patients he really left in a lurch with a horrible office that took over his practice and that are extremely rude and won’t help with anything. Someone says they found him online to do Telehealth but his own patients can’t find him and he doesn’t seem to care.

My husband tested Covid positive on 9/1/2023. His own GP said she couldn't see him at all not even telehealth. He then rec'd the Paxlovid from Urgent Care. On 9/3 his condition didn't improve at all. It was getting worse. His oxygen level dropped from 96 to 92. I was concerned because I don't want to take him to Emergency Room. I found Dr. Garcia online and I contacted him that evening. Dr. G did telehealth interview with my husband after seeing my husband's health profile. He informed my husband to continue with Paxlovid and gave him 2 more medications. The next morning (9/4) my husband took both medications (besides he took one dose of Azithromycin in the evening of 9/3). His condition improved a lot by (9/4) afternoon. His fever was gone and his cough was getting less frequent. I'm grateful for Dr. Garcia. He helped us on Sunday night. He's able to help my husband to recover quickly since our local health professional wasn't able to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia's service.

The few times I've met him he over the years he reaked of cigarettes & other odors? I was told by his staff he mainly concerned himself w/Marijuana medicine the last couple of years & the $$ involved in it !? I was surprised to hear this from his staff? Luckily his nurse practicioners were always picking up his slack. . I've never trusted him . . He's a Doctor of shady character . . Now today I call & find out he sold his practice & left patients with no contact or notice . . . He's a total example of what no one needs !! Not a hosptal, health office or patient ~ everyone will be better with him gone . . . what a shame Holy Cross had him at any level. . As Holy Cross is wonderful! I wonder if he was truthfully a thorn in their side & they got rid of him !!??

This is the WORST doctors office I have ever had to deal with. The doctor is pleasant enough but the office staff is a nightmare. I was referred to several specialist and each time there was a problem which took five or more phone calls to correct. The staff will tell you repeated times that the issue is taken care of when it is NOT. This past encounter with Dr.Garcia's office has made it clear to me that I need to find a new primary doctor. I received a phone call from the specialist that I have been waiting months to see and they were threatening to cancel my appointment. WHY? Because they had contacted Dr.Garcia's office several times asking for the referral be fixed and nothing was done. Once I was contacted, I too called Garcia's office only to be lied to, treated rudely, and hung up on when all they had to do was basically update the referral. The staff needs better training to ensure they can actually do their job and so they understand how to treat the patients with respect.

Dr Garcia was a great doctor when he practiced. That is no longer the case. He is the President of the medical center and does not see patients. No one knows who manages the office. You cannot get an appointment. Medicine that is necessary has been out of stock for over 2 months and when you call to inquire, they are rude and have no answers. This morning, the receptionist challenged me and said if I had Dr Garcia’s personal info to contact him to complain. If they are actively trying to get rid of long standing patients, they are doing a very good job.

Great MD service! I upheld to my timeslot commitment with telehealth and I was ready with my pharmacy contact number so they could process my urgent need knowing that there is another patient just like me waiting in line. I appreciate clear and concise communication.

Did a Telehealth with CNP Mrs. Baldwin. She did an excellent job helping me and I highly recommend her. She took her time and was very compassionate. Wish I lived in Lauderdale so I could use this group all the time. Highly recommend her.

Worse clinic ever.i would never take not even my dog to be seen by Dr.Garcias...he is never there and staff are not good for nothing never answer the phones. the medicine refills never on time.very disrespectful and nasty...not good at all

I’m truly amazed on how far my go to doctor has fallen. I’ve been coming to this office for about 3 years now, because of their care and how well he helps but this is not the case anymore. I tried talking directly to Dr. Garcia to communicate what's taking place with his front line but his staff blocks me each and every time. Trying to get some help for the past 2 1/2 weeks finally I was able to log a virtual appointment and it gets automatically canceled due to co pay. I was working and I guess I missed the call 15 minutes prior to appointment naturally I’m busy and couldn’t answered. Sad to inform this office will no longer be my primary. Garcia and Dr Laura are great. They treat you like a person instead of an insurance reimbursement. It's hard to find an office that has it all but this is as close as it get for someone that can handle honest diagnosis and no BS information from this team. I'm over weight, its something we address bluntly and honestly every time we meet because its a cause of half the problems I have. Regardless of this they understand that people are people and try to help you within the bounds of their relationship with you. They will say, stop eating like crap and exercise, however they also understand it's more complex than that. They have inched me towards my goals for health and have gone above and beyond. These people are caring, knowledgeable., and have helped me feel better, be healthier and live a better life. Don't expect miracles and the insurance system makes things take forever. This is not their fault. This team is worth it and is a special office. Thank you Garcia Medical.

I love Dr Garcia! He and Anna and Laura are amazing! I relocated to another state and if I could financially afford it I would fly to see them. Thank you Laura for not giving up on me and helping me to be able to trust in a female provider.Dr Garcia was with me from day one and has supported me through emotional, medical, numerous surgeries and more! Carol Ann is amazing. Dr Garcia's wife is delightful and I am grateful and thankful for being blessed enough to have been helped by them. I hope I can find a doctor up here as kind and professional as Dr Garcia and Laura Sincerely Debbie

Absolutely fantastic, during this pandemic I have been struggling. Having a caring doctor that listens to you, is flexible with appointments and takes a genuine interest in your health and well being has been absolutely amazing! I would give him ten stars if I could .

So glad I found this practice. I have been without insurance for a while, finally got some through my job and then coronavirus came along so I was anxious about going to a new doctor. I googled telemedicine doctors and found this practice and it has been amazing. I have a crazy schedule and can’t take hours off at a time for appointments but Dr Garcia is always on time to video appointments and straight to the point, doesn’t waste any time, and is nice, caring and professional. The rest of the staff is the same! It’s so nice to have a stress free experience!

I would not recommend this doctor or his office .He is not interested in patient wellbeing and care .He does not take the time to listen to patients and comes to the room in and out .They never return phone calls and referrals are not done in a timely manner .Plus there are no consistency on staff ... NOT GOOD. Garcia is OK if you have a simple issue however he refuses to go in-depth with medical care. He even stood me up 3 times on Telehealth Appointments. DISRESPECTFUL a and he is moody. The only reason he has a practice is because he is bilingual. I am writing this after establishing a new Primary Care Doctor and getting a point of comparison. I would not recommend Garcia due to what I consider a lack of in-depth care. Also if you are in an Emergency Room, he will not respond nor any of his colleagues. BEWARE!

I never saw such a carelessness with a person's health, I did not ask for a favor, all the consultations were paid for and they should not be since it was a single unresolved issue. His team was terrible, rude, rude, stupid, and inhuman. In almost 3 months his and his team's incompetence I have not had my case solved. I would not refer my worst enemy to this clinic and its staff. A clinic that must be checked by the Regional Medical Council and check if there are really working doctors or untrained people. In point the Doctor NEVER ask me to go to de Clinic in person and make a correct examination. They use Online service to pay easy money from patients with a precarious diagnosis.

No one ever answers the phone or returns calls. Impossible to get prescriptions refilled or scripts renewed. I would expect more from my Primary Care Physician during a pandemic.
