Medical Gaslighting
I was referred to Randolph by my PCP after experiencing back pain for 10 plus years. I left my first office visit feeling rushed and unheard. I expressed exactly how I felt to his office staff when they called me to schedule a follow-up to review MRI results. I went to the appointment since I had already waited several months to be seen and was told, verbatim, by Randolph, “I do not see anything on your imaging that would cause the pain you say you are having”. Doctors hold great power in having the last word in patient’s minds, even long after an appointment ends. Randolph downplayed my symptoms, ignored my concerns, and delayed treatment. Randolph’s statement is classic text book medical gas lighting.

Went in with lower back pain and he just basically went through a process of elimination and things continuously cost more money. After 2 years of "trying" things with no real understanding of the problem, he sends me to a back surgeon who also knew nothing and was unwilling to do any research. Each time i visited him, it was like the first time, he had no idea who i was, was not prepared for the appt. and didn't really listen to my symptoms, or he would have realized this was not a typical situation he sees. Brought no new knowledge to the situation and the only result was me out thousands of dollars and lots of wasted time.

Wonderful doctor!! Didn’t rush me, listened to my concerns, and ordered correct testing to get to cause. Wouldn’t hesitate to refer him to friends and family.

Failure to diagnose in a more than ample timely manner due to lack of listening to information to reach what a real skilled doctor should be able to diagnose.

This doctor???? is for sale to the highest bidder. Corporate money wins with this guy. Peoples lives and well being mean nothing to this guy. The oath he took was just words to him - money wins with him.

How do you dismiss someone when she is standing in front of you and pointing out different NEW areas of pain? How do you not return someone's call when she's asking you how to relief her pain? How do you tell someone who can barely make it through the work day and spend her evenings on a heating pad to go join an exercise group?
