Worst appointment ever!
Dr Franssen saw my son yesterday. He is recovering from Whipple surgery done in Fla. He is in extreme pain. We came to Dr Franssen to get help for pain. He was not kind ,rude ,and refused to help us find a gastroenterologist that possibly could help him. It was an awful experience and very disappointing. I would not recommend Dr Franssen to anyone.

Grateful
He is so smart, kind and confident. He took his time to talk to me and I felt comfortable with him at a very vulnerable time. Very grateful to have him as my doctor. His MA was also very helpful and kind. Izetta at the checkout desk was nice to me as well.

Providing my highest recommendation
I cannot speak highly enough for the professionalism, knowledge, emotional intelligence, and skill of Dr. Franssen and his team. The first time that I spoke with Dr. Franssen was the first time that I felt comfortable and a sense of peace about my situation. He offered knowledge, choices, and answered all of my questions with clarity and without sugarcoating anything. I truly appreciate being able to say that I understood the risks, but more so that I knew I was in the hands of someone competent that had my best interest in mind. He and his team wrote detailed notes I was able to refer to from my visit. My central hepatectomy went more smoothly than I could’ve imagined. I attribute a large part of that to Dr. Franssen and his team and my family and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Dr Franssen saved my life!! He is a true professional and a very caring physician. His bedside manner is impeccable, his dedication to his patients is obvious to anyone, and he truly cares. He has returned me to my family in good health and continues to follow up showing his true concern for his patient. He performed Whipple surgery on me and was completely successful in removing pancreatic cancer during that 9 hour surgery. I can see the drive of Dr Franssen in attacking his patients' diseases "like a pit bull on a pork chop". There are not enough Stars in his rating -- it should be in excess of 10 stars. Thank you, Dr Franssen. You're a man among men!!!

Dr. Franssen gets high marks from me! He is very caring, very knowledgeable, and compassionate. Dr. Franssen takes time to learn about his patients. His care reminds me of Dr. Robert Cathcart (RIP). That is a huge compliment.

I was referred to Dr. Franssen by another physician for follow-up for breast cancer from ten years ago. Even though I am currently cancer free, he listened to my history carefully and asked thoughtful questions. Even though it's not a criteria for choosing a physician, he was kind and personable which I appreciated.

I was referred to Dr. FranssenCanovas by another doctor's office because of an enlarged liver. Even though, Dr. FranssenCanovas is a surgeon and not a liver disease doctor, he still took the time to talk to me, listen to my symptoms and make recommendations about who to see and what to do about my condition. He was an excellent physician to help me find my way to correct treatment.

I am a nurse and nurse practitioner - worked in healthcare for over 30 years. I've never had a serious health condition...until now. I am so grateful that I was referred to Dr. Franssen. He listens well, explains well, answers any and all questions and is current on the latest research and protocols. As a nurse one of my biggest criteria for choosing a physician for myself or my family was how responsive they were to me as a nurse when I called them about my patients. Dr. F is responsive!
