Best primary care physician in South Florida
Dr. Berta Pita is hands down the best primary care physician I have ever encountered, and I am someone who typically dreads doctor visits. She is not only highly skilled but also incredibly caring, taking the time to genuinely address all my concerns. Dr. Pita has transformed my annual visits into a positive experience. I highly recommend her.

The staff could do a better job at scheduling appointments and referrals. Dr.Pita could do a better job at taking time with her patients and explaining diagnosis better.

Wait times can be long, but it’s worth the wait. She listens to what’s been going on, wants to see other doctor’s reports, and refers out to Specialists when necessary. She’s also honest but kind. After decades of bad sleep, she convinced me to see a sleep specialist who may actually help.

Only two visits with Dr. Pita and she diagnosed a rare condition from which I was suffering for many years and visited several physicians. She is knowledgeable and she spends time with you, talk to you, like doctors used to be. She personally called me to let me know about my tests. Professional and kind person. I will follow her wherever she goes.

I was also very dissatisfied with the office staff. Dr. Pita's nurse/assistant is superficially friendly but she is basically incompetent and argues when asked to perform simple tasks. Whenever I visit the office I have to wait quite a long time after my appointment in order to get my written referrals to specialists, prescriptions and referrals for blood tests. Dr. Pita really need to find a new nurse who actually cares about the patients and understands people with medical issues.

Dr. Pita was very friendly, and my review is based solely on the professionalism and promptness of the staff. I waited almost 2 hours to be seen. I watched people come and go. I then had to wait an additional 15-30 minutes after the checkup just to get my referral for blood work. Unreal.
