Beth...
I was married at the time, with two toddlers. 'Two under two.' I was floundering, barely functioning, on the verge of tears and hysteria constantly. I was put on MULTIPLE antidepressants in two years. She'd pop out another Rx every six weeks. The SSRIs were doing nothing. One appt, after about 6months to a year, I told her I'd been reading about adhd, and I seemed to have a lot of those symptoms. She scoffed and leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms. She told me she could not prescribe medication for adhd without a diagnosis, but offered no referal to a mental health professional. She did casually mentioned that SHE drank green tea to help with focus.I've since been diagnosed with adhd and autism. She was dismissive at best, negligent and harmful at worst. My children and I were lucky nothing tragic came from her pompous disregard.

I waited for 2 hours for my first appointment. There was still one person waiting ahead of me when I finally went to the window to inquire. They weren't able to reschedule for at least more weeks. Perhaps doctors as busy a Dr. Holmes aren't able to adequately care for new patients.

Terrible. The charges are exorbitant ($310 for a 20 minute office visit) and they do not advise you in advance. The doctor did not respond to any of my subsequent messages. I had to cancel an appt. and did so over 2 days in advance. But instead of canceling the appt. they cancelled a test I urgently needed, then sent me messages and a letter reprimanding me for not showing up to the appt. The test I needed urgently was delayed for over a month. I will never return again. Beware!

She diagnosed me as a diabetic and did not out me on any medicine for a couple years. She finally prescribed medicine for me When I went to another doctor and they checked my A1C, they asked why I was on the medicine. I explained why and then they took me off of it as I was not diabetic.
