This provider is condescending and treats patients as a number, she does not respect any viewpoints but her own and will not treat patients without bias.

I guess there was a huge disconnect between appointment scheduling and the amount of time alloted for a visit with my elderly Mother. The experience felt condescending. Perhaps, elder care, is not her forte.

Dr. South has never had a good bedside manner, but I stayed a patient of hers for years. She helped me out in the beginning with some issues I was having so I kept her as my primary doctor. Years later I was having another issue that I couldn’t seem to get help with. I received help through another doctor but they didn’t accept my insurance. I tried to question her about it through an online message & she discharged me from the practice. I tried going through Novant’s patient advocacy dept & everyone agreed that she didn’t handle the situation the correct way, but said that she had a right to do what she wanted. Even when another doctor in the practice said that she would see me, it wasn’t allowed. I had never had any problems with anyone & wasn’t even ugly with her, but she couldn’t handle me questioning her about my healthcare. Novant even has a patient bill of rights that I discovered was a joke. Do yourself a favor & find another doctor that is kind, caring & professional!

Dr. South is a very good doctor, and I trust her judgement, as she is aways correct on everything she tells me. I definitely recommend her. Melvia Misenheimer

She is worst of the worst.Her mind is I am smartest and the best that you can have PRIVILEGE to talk to.I went to see her in December and nurse than her go trough my medicines and "putting refiles " on medicines after a 15 days I received all except one so I try to contact my DR but she did not want to respond few days later again she did not respond few days later again and I said why is so hard to answer my Chart letters so she finally respond with like is not her fault is like mine or somebody else so she said "I send refill few days ago" but again she did not let me know that she did that.So I wait again for Humana to send me my medicine did not happened.So I contact Humana and they says they are going to contact her so after again 10 days they send me letter stating that my MD did not respond at all in all letters that they send to her.Can you imagine what kind of a Doctor do not want to help HER patient to get medicine that he needs.

She very smart, open, listen and her input right to the point to help 5# star.

Dr. South is a very professional and thorough doctor who found out just how sick my brother was. Step by step she brought him back his health again. We are grateful for being the Doctor that she is and having the expertise that she does. Thank you Dr. South.
