I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this has bugged me for a bit. Appointment stated later than scheduled, and even after being brought to treatment room, could hear Dr in room next door and it sounded like they were just talking socially. Explained that I needed to be billed immediately b/c expiration on FSA funds, I gave them the deadline, and they sent me the bill after deadline. Service for mole removal, Dr said they don't look cancerous, and it would be elective (so I think I was billed as an elective procedure, but uncertain), but no one said these non-cancerous moles removed would be sent to UCSF for histology at $500. Blindsided by that $500 charge.

I found that Dr. Epstein was friendly and knowledgeable. I like her straightforward style, and see her annually for my skin scan, although I originally went to her for a different procedure.
